Heavenly Flowers Fall, Divine Abilities Form Naturally

A thousand years passed in the blink of an eye.

In the Primordial True Realm, time was the least valuable thing. Those Great Powers who stood between heaven and earth would enter seclusion for several Epochs at a time.

Zhao Gongming teased, "I have to say, Martial Brother Xuan Yin certainly had foresight. He actually opened a Cave Abode directly on Upper Clarity Peak!"

He was a manifestation from clear wind and was especially sensitive to auras. When he had ascended the mountain, he had naturally seen the Cave Abode Xuan Yin had opened at its foot.

He had also sensed Xuan Yin's aura!

Duobao Daoist suddenly understood, though a trace of regret seemed to appear on his face. "Had I known, This Humble Daoist would have opened a Cave Abode on Upper Clarity Peak as well!"

"That way, I could not only remain by Teacher's side and listen to the Saint's teachings, but also become neighbors with Martial Brother Xuan Yin on Upper Clarity Peak!"

Hearing this, Xuan Yin hurriedly replied, "Martial Brother, you flatter me! Among the many disciples Teacher accepted last time, my cultivation is the lowest. That is why I wished to listen to more of Teacher's teachings!"

Once everyone had arrived, Sect Master Tongtian appeared as well. Seated cross-legged upon a Cloud Bed, he nodded toward the many disciples seated in Shangqing Hall.

"Greetings, Teacher!"

All the disciples bowed in unison.

"You are dismissed!"

Sect Master Tongtian gave a slight nod. "This sermon will cover methods below the Great Luo realm. You may use what This Humble Daoist teaches to fill in your shortcomings, or choose the Great Dao most suited to yourselves according to the methods I explain!"

The Saint's Great Dao encompassed all things in the vast universe. Even a single branch of it was enough to occupy everyone present for endless years of study!

"The Dharma is originally wordless; words are provisionally established to illuminate the Dao. Spirit has no form; forms are temporarily relied upon to seek truth. Within, connect the yin soul; without, refine the yang soul. Adapt to the principles of being and nonbeing, respond to the mechanisms of motion and stillness. One rise and one fall transform the essence of the three palaces; one float and one sink govern the qi of the six caverns. Use without using to achieve the nature of the One Truth; act without acting to refine the pill of nine yangs. When the pill becomes fitting and the pearl condenses, essence flows into heavenly water, forming the rising sun and rosy clouds, reaching back to before the myriad phenomena."

The Formless Great Dao gave birth to heaven and earth. The Unfeeling Great Dao moved the sun and moon. The Nameless Great Dao nurtured all things. The Great Dao was inherently difficult to describe with words, yet only a Saint could unravel it layer by layer, clearly turning the Great Dao of Heaven and Earth into language and explaining it bit by bit to those present.

All the disciples were utterly entranced.

Only Xuan Yin first took out an Imprint Stone and hung it from his chest, hoping to use it to record the truths of heaven and earth explained by the Saint.

Sect Master Tongtian's sermon began at the Heavenly Immortal realm and ended at Taiyi. His realm was simply too low for him to fully absorb and comprehend its mysteries.

Thus, during those thousand years, aside from trying out the methods Sect Master Tongtian had taught, he had spent his time refining this Imprint Stone.

Although this Imprint Stone could not imprint Dao Charm or Dao Marks and was not some Spiritual Treasure, it could still record the Saint's understanding of the Great Dao for Xuan Yin to revisit and study in the future.

However, he had clearly underestimated a Saint's sermon.

Rather than preaching the Dao, it was more like an empowerment. The Saint's marvelous methods stirred the Myriad Daos of Heaven and Earth, and immeasurable golden light and Dao Charm immediately descended from the void.

At this moment, Sect Master Tongtian was explaining the Heavenly Immortal realm. Naturally, Xuan Yin benefited the most, and his Heavenly Immortal Dao Fruit began to rapidly improve.

Streams of spiritual light flew from his Dao Fruit. Guided by the Saint's Great Dao, they transformed into countless Other-Self Incarnations and fell into the River of Time and Space.

As a Saint, Sect Master Tongtian's incarnations were spread throughout the Cosmos Heavens. With his guidance, Xuan Yin did not need to spend his own effort searching the endless void for worlds where he could scatter spiritual light.

At a Saint's thought, seas turned to mulberry fields. While more than a hundred years had passed in the Primordial True Realm, other worlds might already have undergone the tempering of endless ages.

Beside Sect Master Tongtian in 108,000 Worlds, an additional living being appeared. Its Life Origin Aura bore Xuan Yin's likeness.

These living beings might have different appearances and races, but all were formed from Xuan Yin's spiritual light, carrying his comprehension of the Great Dao in various worlds.

With a thought from Xuan Yin, the experiences and Dao Comprehension of 108,000 Other-Self Incarnations surged toward his True Self like a tide.
