Cosmology and Structure
The Primordial True Realm was opened by Great God Pangu and serves as the origin of myriad bloodlines, primordial energies, and Great Daos. The Wu Clan originated from Pangu's essence blood, while the Dragon Race arose from his meridians; even later-created races use materials ultimately derived from Pangu. 179
Its foundational evolution includes the Four Chaos Primordial Spirits—earth, fire, water, and wind—which fell into the realm after World Creation. Their origins became part of the realm's foundation and gave rise to Innate Divine Beings. 277
The Innate Five Elements Great Dao forms the realm's central cycle. Earth, water, fire, and wind establish its foundation; the Five Elements return to the Four Symbols, the Three Talents establish the base, and Yin and Yang balance all things before returning to the One. 322
Great Dao Cycle

Major Locations
| Location | Significance |
|---|---|
| Buzhou Mountain | The pillar of Heaven and Earth and the core ancestral vein suppressing the Primordial World. 101 |
| Return Ruins | Represents the end of all things; much of the realm's lost origin has flowed there. It lies beyond ordinary Heavenly Dao scrutiny. 101 239 |
| Boundless Land | The point of origin where the Primordial True Realm was opened; it retains an imprint of the Heaven-Opening Divine Axe. 239 |
| Netherworld | A domain of the Earthly Dao, making direct Heavenly Dao interference inconvenient. 239 |
| Pangu Hall | Protected by safeguards left by Pangu and beyond the ordinary reach of Heavenly Dao Power. 239 |
| Pangu's Five Viscera Worlds | Pangu's heart, liver, spleen, lungs, and kidneys connect the Primordial True Realm with the Return Ruins and promote the Five Elements Cycle. 322 |
Governing Systems
Heavenly Dao
The Heavenly Dao governs the realm's laws and tracks powerful beings entering or leaving the Primordial World. Its influence does not fully extend into the Netherworld, Pangu Hall, the Boundless Land, or the Return Ruins. 239
The Heavenly Dao system is sustained by living beings, Immortals, Gods, and Grand Unity cultivators. When too many Immortals and Gods draw upon finite resources, tribulations arise; fallen cultivators return their accumulated power to the system that sustains the Heavenly Dao. 307
Earthly Dao and Humanity Dao
The Earthly Dao shares responsibility for organizing the realm's elemental order. During the restoration of the greater Five Elements Cycle, Heavenly Dao Power and Earthly Dao power became tangible and worked together to regulate the Five Elements. 363
Humanity Dao exists alongside the Dao of Heaven and Earth as one of the Three Daos. Its original aim was to bind living beings through spiritual belief, though bloodline-based factions later fragmented that unity. 179 280
History
Great God Pangu opened the Primordial True Realm, and the parts of his body became integral to its lands, races, Great Daos, and elemental circulation. The Four Chaos Primordial Spirits of earth, fire, water, and wind fell into the newborn realm, becoming key materials in its development. 179 277
Over time, successive calamities—including the Dragon-Han Calamity, the Witch-Demon Great Tribulation, and the Investiture of the Gods tribulation—damaged the realm and contributed to its stagnation. Dijun condemned Grand Unity cultivators and Sages for pursuing private interests rather than preventing these disasters. 120
The realm's Five Elements Cycle was later found to be damaged, weakening the Earthly Dao's origin. Shen Nong made repairing this cycle a priority, and the successful integration of the Metal Origin World restored the greater Five Elements Cycle and increased the spiritual energy of Heaven and Earth. 322 355 363 365
Shadow Primordial
Dao Ancestor Hongjun created the Shadow Primordial by using the Primordial True Realm as a template and extracting part of its origin. Although one level below the true realm, it surpassed ordinary Great Thousand Worlds and reflected the Primordial True Realm on a one-to-one basis. 304
The extraction of origin accelerated the Primordial True Realm's transition from the Precelestial Era to the Postcelestial Era, while also drawing the Great Trend of the Heavenly Dao closer to its original course. 304
Because Xuan Yin, Sect Master Tongtian, and certain Intercepting Sect disciples had already refined their shadows into Natal Treasures, no corresponding shadow versions of them existed in the Shadow Primordial. This created an ownerless Heavenly Dao Sage position and allowed them to enter the reflected world in their true bodies. 304
The Shadow Primordial is separated from the Primordial True Realm by a membrane formed by the Heavenly Dao. Preparations for proving the Dao can be made within it and transferred back through reversed cause and effect, but its Sages cannot suppress the Sages of the true Primordial True Realm. 309
