Linley began Hogwarts, developed his exceptional fire magic, and became Professor Green’s apprentice in alchemy. After helping Green survive a duel with Cassirachi, Linley received combat training and continued building his skills.

• Linley arrived at Hogwarts, was sorted into Slytherin, and impressed his teachers with his spellwork, especially his powerful silent Incendio.
• Professor Green agreed to guide Linley in alchemy, taught him its principles, and gave him a Mana Suppression Bracelet to help him attempt Wandless Magic.
• Linley studied Ancient Runes, chose to practice Dual Cultivation of Formations, and became Professor Green’s direct disciple.
• Linley engraved runes onto Stink Pellets and made defensive alchemical clothing, while Fred and George tested the improved pellets on Filch.
• Linley followed Professor Green to Hogsmeade and watched him duel Cassirachi, then used the Mana Suppression Scepter to dispel the combatants’ magic before Cassirachi seized him.

• In France, Linley visited Magi-Gold Street and Beauxbatons, competed with Fleur in alchemy, and met Nicolas Flamel, who taught him Spell Alchemy.

• At Hogwarts, Linley noticed Irina Lowell, while Irina befriended Hermione and showed her how to cast the Glacier Spell.

Linley and Irina became entangled in the hunt for the Philosopher’s Stone as Harry and his friends uncovered Quirrell’s connection to Voldemort. After the friends entered the chambers protecting the Stone, Linley’s hidden grenade wounded Quirrell, and the group continued through the traps.

• Linley sabotaged Quirrell’s attempt to curse Harry’s broom during the Quidditch match, and Harry caught the Snitch to win for Gryffindor.
• Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Irina learned that Nicolas Flamel had created the Philosopher’s Stone and suspected Snape and Quirrell wanted it.
• Linley studied the Mirror of Erised and hid a Mk2 grenade inside its storage formation for anyone seeking the Stone.
• Hagrid revealed the Stone’s protectors, and Linley helped him hatch and shelter the dragon before Hagrid’s friends took it away.
• During detention in the Forbidden Forest, Linley and Irina fought Quirrell, who revealed Voldemort’s control and unleashed Fiendfyre before the professors drove him off.
• Harry and his friends learned that Hagrid had told a stranger how to get past Fluffy, then decided to reach the Stone before the stranger could claim it.
• Irina played Fluffy to sleep as the friends entered the trapdoor, while Linley followed and Quirrell found the Stone’s reflection in the Mirror of Erised.

Linley and Irina helped defeat Quirrell and Voldemort, then spent the summer strengthening their magic and preparing for Hogwarts. In their second year, Irina’s new wand and abilities drew attention, while Linley’s gift revealed a connection between them that left her heading to meet him.

• Linley entered the chamber and helped Irina and Harry fight Quirrell and Voldemort, then took the Philosopher’s Stone and used it to contain the Fiendfyre before Voldemort escaped as a weakened remnant.
• Dumbledore gave Linley the Philosopher’s Stone and revealed that Hendry Rowle had been a spy who, with Regulus Black, had found a weapon against Voldemort that Linley suspected was a Horcrux.
• Linley built the Demon God's Authority bracer around the Stone, while Irina found an ice-affiliated Bowtruckle in the Scandinavian Mountains and named it Qing Nü.
• Linley travelled to France, survived an armed hijacking, and learned from Green to conjure Alchemy Formations without tools.
• Irina crafted a wand from Ice Crystal Wood with dragon heartstring, whose magic froze Ollivanders Wand Shop before she controlled it.
• On the Hogwarts Express, Irina pulled Harry back into the Flying Car, but it later crashed into the Whomping Willow and Ron’s Wand broke.
