The Fierce Angels assembled four full companies and their auxiliary forces, along with their company ships and flagship, for a total of two thousand warships, and set course for the Hera system.

On the hololithic display on the Judgement Day's command deck, the fleet could be seen clearly threading its way through the tangled routes of the Webway.

Lu Jin thought that if they'd had a little more time to assemble, they could have gathered an even larger fleet and ground force. But the Red Corsairs were surely searching for the Navigation Tower too, and the Great White Sharks were already in the Hera system. Whether they were looking for the tower or collecting their red tithe was hard to say. There was no more time to gather reinforcements.

After half a solar month of travel, the fleet reached the exit at its destination.

Navigator Onaas appeared in the communications image.

She wore numerous ornaments.

As Lu Jin traveled through the star systems, he always had to go with the Ragefang to its next destination. He therefore saw Onaas regularly, and gave her the local specialties he found as a token of gratitude for the wealthy young woman who had once sold everything she had to support the Chapter.

Everyone gathered around the hololithic display nodded to Onaas, except Jenos, who lowered his head.

Jenos had always felt indebted to the Navigator. The things he and Kao had sold back then had been personal defense equipment. Later, a Soul Forger Techmarine told him that it might well have been a personal Void Shield worth an entire planet.

They'd sold something worth a planet and come back with nothing but their pants. Jenos couldn't help feeling guilty.

"The exit is open."
