Krogar and the new members of the Scout Squad completed their mission around the city ruins. On the order of the Tactical Sergeant, they entered the ruins.

When Krogar and the Scout Squad reached the city, they saw a large group of Second Company warriors gathered near the Chapter Master to watch the show.
Once the order to halt the attack came down, Second Company had been close at hand, so they'd been the first to reach the Chapter Master. They had originally passed him by to join the fighting, but now that he planned to handle the battle himself, they'd doubled back to watch.
Krogar found a low building, climbed onto it, and looked down at the spot surrounded by the others.

One group was kneeling on the ground, showing no will to resist at all.
Another group stood scattered about, surrounded by Second Company warriors holding Bolters.
