Da Huang worked out how much time had passed and figured things should be about wrapped up, so he hurried over.
When he arrived, he found Chen Changan and the others standing off to the side, watching Song Yuheng fight some old bastard.
And Song Yuheng seemed to be having a pretty good time of it.
"Why are you here?" Li Yanran asked curiously.
"Why shouldn't I be here?"
"I've got work to do." Da Huang grinned.
"Huh?"
"What work?" Li Yanran asked, puzzled.
"You wouldn't understand. It's my old line of work."
"Keep watching. I'm off to get busy."
Da Huang chuckled, then began his looting spree.
Unfortunately, the Li Family hadn't left Da Huang much. He searched the place from top to bottom, but didn't find many useful things—just some Eternal Stones.
Even if they were only Eternal Stones, Da Huang was still pretty satisfied.
Were these Eternal Stones?
No, they were his private stash.
His whoring money!
"Old Song, that's enough."
"Come back."
At Chen Changan's words, Song Yuheng didn't hesitate. He quickly stopped fighting and flew to Chen Changan's side.
Seeing the reluctant look on Song Yuheng's face, Chen Changan smiled and asked, "How was it? Pretty exhilarating, right?"
"Exhilarating? It was insanely exhilarating! I have to say, your way of doing things really gets the blood pumping. You just get it done!"
Chen Changan smiled and patted Song Yuheng on the shoulder. Everyone had witnessed his transformation. This battle had changed Song Yuheng more than anything else, and he had gained the most from it, too.
At that moment, seeing that not a single person from the Li Family had survived, the Li Family Ancestor's eyes brimmed with hatred and fury toward Chen Changan.
He couldn't understand it. He couldn't make sense of it. Why?
