Background

Da Huang was brought to the Great Profound Realm as a newborn Kirin by Mu Yunyao, who had intended for him to be her companion. Finding him cunning and irritating as he grew, she left him in the Forbidden Forest. The Great Profound Realm's restrictions prevented this Divine Beast from advancing beyond the ninth rank despite his royal bloodline. 60 292

Before his present life, Da Huang was the ancestor of the Saint Domain's Kirin Race and one of its peak experts. When the Sacred Dao Academy eliminated the races and powers capable of challenging it, Xia Moyan used her remaining strength to send away a fragment of his soul.
