So, at some point in the future, Chen Changan Number Two had chosen the same approach and returned to the past to make further amends.

That had changed Chen Changan Number Three's life, and so on.

Different versions of Chen Changan from different timelines kept returning to the past, which was how things had ended up like this.

The Carefree Boat was a method devised by one of them. The Divine Vein belonged to another version of himself from a different timeline.
