Background / History

Ye Jing is a transmigrator who awakens in the body of a Third-place Scholar in Great Li. Demoted by Emperor Li, he begins work at the Hanlin Academy compiling biographies, initially intending to live quietly despite possessing only Qi Refining cultivation. Learning that the sixth Heaven and Earth Cataclysm is imminent convinces him that strength is necessary for survival. 1
