Background

Qiuyue was found in a snowstorm at the age of three by Ye Jing's mother and raised in the Ye household alongside Ye Jing. Although publicly his maidservant, she and Ye Jing grew up without strict master-servant formality and openly tease one another. 7

Her cultivation potential emerged when Ye Jing taught her the first stance of the Thirteen Swords of Heavenly Annihilation. After seeing it once, she reproduced roughly seventy percent of its essence; soon afterward, she rose from an ordinary mortal to Qi Refining Realm Second Layer. 15 16 Her ability to draw spiritual energy into mist led Ye Jing to suspect that she possessed an Innate Dao Body. 16

Qiuyue's true parentage remains unknown.
