Background / History

Little Marten first appears as a black, talking rat-like demonic spirit residing within the Stone Talisman Space. He fiercely rejects Lin Dong's description of him as a rat, identifying himself instead as the famed Heavenly Demon Sable. Although initially wary and arrogant, he guides Lin Dong through the Stone Talisman and proposes awakening the Ancient Soul sleeping within it. 1 2

He recognizes the terrifying Devouring Power surrounding the Ancient Soul and identifies its connection to the Devouring Ancestral Talisman. Little Marten ultimately realizes that the sleeper is Cang Wu, the Lord of Devourment, and treats the ancient powerhouse with marked reverence and fear. 2 3 4

In his previous life, Little Marten was a Life and Death Profound Realm expert. He is also the son of the Heavenly Demon Sable Clan's leader and a candidate for Young Clan Master, carrying Heavenly Demon Sable royal blood. 3 7 67

He has a competitive, combative temperament and generally favors direct action when dealing with enemies. Despite his arrogance, he is perceptive and cautious in dangerous situations, often warning Lin Dong not to trust others blindly or underestimate stronger opponents. 35 38
