Old Kai stood at the edge of the crater with his neck hunched. This time, he truly did not dare say another word.
Trunks ran over and shouted into the crater, "Dad, are you okay?"
Vegeta ignored Trunks. He leaped out of the crater, stared at the figure in the sky, and gritted his teeth in fury.
"Damn Kakarot! One day, I'll defeat you!"
"Alright, then I'll wait for that day." Goku landed with a simple grin.
"Grandpa, why hasn't Grandpa Gran come back yet?"
Pan had long since grown used to Vegeta's defeats. After all, Vegeta was an entire major realm behind her grandfather in strength.
The moment Pan said that,
the people gathered around them fell silent. Kronoa had been gone for nearly two days as well.
It would have been one thing if Gran had not returned yet, but even Kronoa had yet to come back.

Before Goku could finish,

Old Kai felt his nose sting. Gran's outfit was far too familiar—it was the very same clothing Beerus wore.
He also recalled what Goku had said before: this Candidate God of Destruction possessed the power of the Angel Realm.
"Lord Beerus from
