After surviving his abandonment by Vegeta, Gran gained immense power, trained under Whis, and became Beerus’s Candidate God of Destruction. He left the God of Destruction Realm to seek stronger opponents, defeated Shin, and headed toward Planet Yardrat as Whis investigated a Saiyan who had challenged King of All.

• Gran summoned Whis while near death, then survived after his Dimension advanced and Whis healed him.
• Gran cooked for Whis and began training in the God of Destruction Realm, mastering his strength and calming his ki through meditation.
• Beerus made Gran his Candidate God of Destruction, and Gran trained with Beerus and Whis in Ultra Instinct and combat.
• Gran endured heavy gravity training, entered the Sumeru World, defeated a billion-Battle-Power beast, and developed First Stage Body Instinct.
• Gran fought Beerus and lost, then discussed his progress and planned to seek stronger fighters and Senzu Beans.
• Whis took Gran to Planet Yardrat, where Gran demonstrated that he could survive in space and encountered Shin and Kibito.

Gran traveled through Universe 7 to master Instant Transmission, collect Senzu Beans, and advance his martial arts before confronting Vegeta. He transformed into a Super Saiyan, but Beerus warned that the state interfered with Ultra Instinct, and Gran’s concern shifted to whether Vegeta had survived.

• Gran mastered Instant Transmission in six hours on Planet Yardrat and headed to Planet Namek with Shin and Kibito.
• Gran forced the Namekians to lend him their Dragon Balls, then used Porunga to transfer nearly all their Senzu Beans to him.
• Whis learned that the Saiyan ancestor Audis had wielded a dangerous berserk transformation and decided to guide Gran away from it.
• Gran trained with a turtle elder, forged a Martial Heart, and challenged fighters across Universe 7 until he reached the Second Stage of Body Instinct.
• Gran returned to confront Vegeta, dodged his attacks, and revealed a Battle Power of one billion before brutally defeating him.
• Gran transformed into a golden-haired Super Saiyan, reaching fifty billion Battle Power, and Beerus and Whis arrived too late to stop the transformation.
• Gran left Raditz and Nappa to decide Vegeta’s fate, and they revived Vegeta with a Senzu Bean when the Ginyu Force arrived.
• Beerus knocked Gran out of his Super Saiyan State, Whis healed him, and Gran asked to see whether Vegeta was dead.

Gran spared Vegeta’s life indirectly, completed his training, and learned that his Saiyan transformations could lead to an Ultimate State. After rest helped him break through a power bottleneck, he rejected Champa’s offer to join Universe 6 and led the gods to Earth, where Korin’s tower revealed mysteries tied to the Heavenly Realm.

• Raditz and Nappa repeatedly healed Vegeta with Senzu Bean fragments, allowing him to reach 300,000 Battle Power and kill the Ginyu Force, then Vegeta spared them and left with them to train.
• Gran achieved the No Self State of Mind, which Whis identified as an Ultra Instinct Prototype, and Beerus took him to the Realm of the Gods to release Old Kai.
• Gran broke the Pot of the God of Destruction Sword and freed Old Kai, who examined Gran’s transformations and explained how his anger-fueled Golden State could lead to an Ultimate State.
• Gran cooked a feast for the gods, and Whis recognized his exhaustion and told him to rest before Gran fell asleep.
• Champa and Vados visited Universe 7 and tried to recruit Gran, but Gran woke after rest had raised his Battle Power to 1.2 billion and declined to rush further training.
• Gran prepared instant noodles on Earth, impressing Champa and the other gods, then stopped Beerus from attacking Bulma when she mistook him for a beggar.
• Gran brought the group to Korin Tower, where Master Korin revealed that its Senzu Beans, magical waters, and access to the Heavenly Realm had predated his guardianship.

Gran became a Deity after years of training in the Dimension Tower, then returned to Earth with Beerus and Whis and met the young Goku. The King of All noticed Gran’s breakthrough and called a God of Destruction Meeting.

• Whis and Vados realized Popo’s powers resembled an Angel’s, while Gran recognized that he had killed one when he struck Popo down.
• Champa and Vados abducted Gran to make him Universe 6’s Candidate God of Destruction, but Beerus and Whis caught up with them and secured permission for a fight.
• Beerus defeated Champa, and Whis overcame Vados with a blow that shattered spaces and stopped time before promising to train Gran.
• Whis and Beerus sent Gran into the Dimension Tower, where he endured years of pressure and reached its hundredth floor on his eighteenth birthday.
• Gran’s Mortal Power became Divine Power, and he reached Peak Deity Status before sparring with Beerus and learning that his power was Divine Realm First Tier.
• Gran realized it was Era of Beerus 749 and took Beerus and Whis to Earth, where they encountered Bulma, Oolong, and the Great Ape Kakarot.
• Gran cut off Kakarot’s tail to return him to child form, then took him and Bulma to Food Street, where Beerus and Whis enjoyed Earth’s food.
• Gran let Goku remain on Earth to train with Master Roshi, while the King of All learned of a Divine Dimension breakthrough and ordered a God of Destruction Meeting.
