Gran reached the Angel Realm in his state of mind and fought Besi, Zamas, Black Goku, and Mechikkapula. Mechikkapula broke through to the Angel Realm, and Gran continued using their battle to test his abilities despite nearing exhaustion.

• Gran achieved Perfect Ultra Instinct as his normal state, then traveled through Universe 4 with Bulma and met Besi and Cognac.
• Besi joined Zamas and Black Goku in ambushing Gran, but Gran unleashed his Angel Realm power, killed Besi, and weakened the two immortal fighters.
• Mechikkapula emerged from a Space-Time Rift, and Gran faced him after Beerus and the other Gods of Destruction arrived.
• Mechikkapula used his Eighth Tier Space-Time Rule to evade and strike Gran, but Gran shattered the critical point and created a chaotic zone where he could move freely.
• Gran battered Mechikkapula until the latter revealed his Light and Dark powers, broke his Immortal Body, and advanced to the Angel Realm.
• Mechikkapula regained his speed and overwhelmed Gran with layered Light, Dark, and Space-Time powers, while the Time King explained that Gran’s Dimension remained at the Deity level.
• Gran kept fighting to temper his abilities, admitted his stamina was nearly gone, and put a bean in his mouth to recover.
