Gran defeated Omar, learned of the Candidate God of Destruction Battle Royale, and broke through to the Third Stage of Body Instinct during a fight with Champa. He brought Broly to the Realm of the Gods and began learning the Destruction Rule while Whis promised to seek a way to help Broly after the tournament.

• Gran defeated Omar, an intruder from Universe 4, while the Grand Minister punished Quitela for provoking a conflict and warned the Gods of Destruction not to intervene personally.
• Whis announced a Candidate God of Destruction Battle Royale in ten years, and Gran offered to help Champa find a Universe 6 candidate by recommending its Saiyans.
• Gran fought Champa and, after Beerus and Champa attacked him with Hakai Energy Beams, reached the Third Stage of Body Instinct.
• Gran found Broly on Planet Vampa, defeated him when his power surged, and told Paragus that Frieza had destroyed Planet Vegeta.
• Gran brought Broly to the Realm of the Gods and explained that Broly shared the physique of the legendary Saiyan Audis, but Old Kai could not yet solve his berserk problem.
• Whis agreed to seek the Super Dragon Balls after the tournament, and Beerus and Whis began teaching Gran the Destruction Rule.

Gran trained with Little Broly, mastered the First Stage Destruction Rule, and defeated Bojack’s gang before testing his strength against Beerus. After Whis restored Universe 7 from their destructive clash, Gran returned to training and planned to combine Potential Unleashing with Divine Dimension and Ultra Instinct.

• Gran learned Destruction from Beerus and trained with Little Broly while destroying unfit planets across Universe 7.
• Gran and Little Broly encountered Bojack’s gang, and Gran erased Zangya, Bujin, Gokua, Bido, and Bojack after Little Broly fought them.
• Gran spent two years destroying planets until he completed the First Stage Destruction Rule, then went to Earth with Little Broly.
• Gran reunited with Bulma, and Whis granted her Eternal Youth while Gran gave her a Spirit Fruit and a Gravity Suit.
• Gran and Beerus fought with their full power, and Whis knocked them out and reversed time before their clash could destroy Universe 7.
• Gran learned Universe 7’s Mortal Level Index had risen to 3.21 and discussed helping Beerus improve the ranking.
• Gran returned to Bulma’s Manor, helped her begin learning to fly, and decided to combine Potential Unleashing with Divine Dimension and Ultra Instinct.

Gran strengthened Universe 7’s Saiyans and confronted Cooler before spending centuries training in the Heavenly Realm’s Hyperbolic Time Chamber. He emerged with power and control beyond what Whis could clearly assess, while the Gods of Destruction prepared for a summons to the Void Realm.

• Gran visited the Galactic Patrol, met Paragus and Merus, and entrusted Merus with training the Saiyans who had joined the Patrol.
• Gran encountered Moro in the Galactic Prison, displayed his Destruction Rule, and left him alive because Beerus had spared him.
• Bulma reunited with Tights and traveled with Gran to Planet Bell, where Gran warned Cooler not to interfere with Little Broly’s fight against his squad.
• Little Broly went berserk and killed Dore, Neiz, and Salza before Gran knocked him unconscious and saved him and the badly injured Cooler.
• Gran entered the Heavenly Realm’s Hyperbolic Time Chamber and trained for centuries, reaching the Divine Realm First Tier in his normal state.
• Gran returned from the chamber with his aura concealed, and Popo and Whis recognized that his strength and martial arts had advanced beyond their clear assessment.
• Old Kai announced that he was ready to unleash Gran’s potential, but Whis reported that Gran was still fishing in the Otherworld.
• Whis summoned Beerus, Old Kai, Shin, and Little Broly after the Grand Minister ordered all Gods of Destruction to the Void Realm.

While Beerus demonstrated his strength to the Gods of Destruction, Gran completed Old Kai’s potential-unlocking ritual and reached Divine Realm Seventh Tier Initial Stage. Gran then traveled to Universe 6 to meet its candidates and challenge Hit, with the tournament approaching.

• Beerus brought Little Broly to the Void Realm as Universe 7’s Candidate God of Destruction, while Gran returned from Otherworld and began Old Kai’s potential-unlocking ritual.
• Beerus and Champa fought the other Gods of Destruction, and Beerus’s Ninth Tier Destruction Rule and Perfect Self-Ultra Instinct overwhelmed them before the Grand Minister stopped the battle.
• The Grand Minister warned the Gods of Destruction to prepare for the Candidate God of Destruction Battle Royale, and King of All looked forward to the tournament in five years.
• As years passed, Gran meditated while Old Kai continued unlocking his potential, and Gran began studying Angel-level martial arts to maintain Ultra Instinct in his normal state.
• Old Kai drew out Gran’s Transcendent Potential, and Gran’s power surged to Divine Realm Seventh Tier Initial Stage, destroying Universe 7 before Whis and Vados rewound time and restored it.
• Gran reunited with Beerus and Broly, confirmed the strength of his Potential Unleashed state, and traveled toward Universe 6 to collect Hit before the tournament.
• Vados assessed Gran’s fighting chances against Champa, while Gran learned that Champa had Sixth Tier Peak raw power and a Destruction Rule nearing the Seventh Tier.
• Champa introduced Gran to Universe 6’s nineteen candidates, and after Vados brought Hit, Gran accepted Hit’s challenge and offered to face the other candidates as well.
