Universe 7 fought to overcome Universe 6’s lead as Gohan defeated Yark and Vegeta discovered Destruction Power but surrendered to Moro. In the second round, Goku awakened a prototype of Ultra Instinct against Rose, but Rose’s greater power and Destruction attacks left him badly hurt.

• Gran’s tournament divided fighters into arenas with opponents stronger than their tested Battle Power, and Universe 6 took an early lead over Universe 7.
• Piccolo, Yamcha, Tien Shinhan, Krillin, and the Grand Elder of Planet Metamor won matches, while a tribal youth earned a place in the Advanced Arena by defeating his stronger opponent.
• Universe 7’s Galactic Prison criminals revealed their immense power in the Peak Arena, bringing Universe 7 ahead before Gohan’s match against Yark.
• Gohan defeated Yark with Instant Transmission and a Special Beam Cannon, but the tournament disqualified him for killing Yark and denied him a Life Fruit.
• Vegeta fought Moro, who drained his energy, and briefly manifested Destruction Power before surrendering and taking a Senzu Bean from Goku.
• Universe 6 finished the first round ahead, and the second round began with former Candidate Gods of Destruction among its fighters and Broly set to compete.
• Goku revealed Ultra Instinct while fighting Rose, then transformed through Super Saiyan forms and Super Three before Rose unveiled his stronger Ultra Ego Destruction State.

Goku led Universe 7 to victory in Gran’s inter-universal tournament, then Gran returned to Earth as the Android Crisis approached. A different-timeline Cell emerged, and Gran entered Dr. Gero’s laboratory with Android 17 and Android 18.

• Goku used Instant Transmission to defeat Rose, and Broly later beat Hit as Universe 7 pulled ahead in the tournament.
• Gran revealed hidden fighters from Galactic Prison, and Universe 7 won the tournament’s final score and its hundredfold reward.
• Gran returned to the God of Destruction Realm, encountered the awakened Prophecy Fish, and heard its prediction about a Super Saiyan God and a Creation God mending the sky.
• Unable to advance his state of mind through meditation, Gran left to temper himself among mortals and visited Merus before heading to Earth.
• Gran sensed Future Trunks’s arrival and learned that the Android Crisis was near, while Trunks revealed he had become a Candidate God of Destruction in his timeline.
• As Goku and the others headed to the Nandou Archipelago, Gran encountered a Perfect Form Cell from another timeline and followed him toward Dr. Gero’s Laboratory.
• Goku’s group found the islands deserted and rescued Yamcha from two unfamiliar attackers, while Gran entered the laboratory and overheard Cell’s plan.
• Gran awakened Android 18 and Android 17, then dodged Android 17’s attack as the siblings followed him deeper into the laboratory.

Gran stopped Cell from another timeline, freed Android 17 and Android 18, and left Earth with Bulma to pursue the person behind Cell’s arrival. Their journey brought them to Universe 8, where a tournament crowd took notice of the Saiyan Clan.

• Gran found Cell in the laboratory, learned he had traveled from another timeline, and fought him as Cell absorbed the Cell Embryo.
• Goku and the Z Fighters confronted Dr. Gero and the Androids, but Cell absorbed Android 17 and Android 18 to reach his Golden form.
• Gran defeated Golden Cell, forced him to release the Androids, and erased him with Destruction after learning a mysterious person had sent him to target Gran and Beerus.
• Gran left Earth’s affairs to Goku, while Gohan and Vegeta fought to a draw and Android 18 chose to stay with Bulma.
• Gran and Bulma left Earth together, and Gran refused Vegeta’s request to join them while urging him to keep training.
• Goku arranged training with Whis, Vegeta’s group prepared to train in Universe 6, and Trunks destroyed Cell’s embryo in his future timeline.
• Beerus tasked Trunks with organizing a tournament to improve Universe 7, while Gran and Bulma entered Universe 8 to investigate its fighters.

Gran traveled through several universes, collecting patent fees and learning more about the Demons and the Rift while advancing his cultivation. As Gohan unlocked his potential and Goku and Vegeta entered the Dimension Tower, Gran and Bulma reached Universe 1 and stole its Dimensional Fruits and technology.

• Gran defeated Harrington and Universe 8’s experts, revealed himself as Universe 7’s Candidate God of Destruction, and collected Universe 8’s patent fees.
• Gran visited Universe 9 and Universe 10, collected more patent fees, and reached Ultra Instinct in his normal form while struggling to combine different emotions.
• Kusu confronted Coron over his failure to explain Gran’s cultivation, then Gran and Bulma traveled to Universe 11, where Jiren challenged Belmod over the Demons.
• Belmod told Gran that he had used a Time Ring to reach the GT timeline and discovered a Rift behind which Demons had emerged, while concealing it from Jiren to protect him.
• Gohan released the power Old Kai had unlocked, reaching roughly fifty billion Battle Power, while Goku learned about Dimension training and entered the Dimension Tower with Vegeta and Rose.
• Gran and Bulma entered Universe 1, where Gran killed Lasa, escaped Iwan and Awamo, and learned that local fruits could raise a person’s Dimension.
• Gran took every Dimensional Fruit from Universe 1’s tree, gave one to Bulma, and copied technology while threatening to destroy the Data Center’s records when Iwan confronted him.
