Ghost Domain!

Ghost Lake might not have looked like much, but this was Li Dan's first gold-tier pull. If he found the right supernatural force later, he might be able to strengthen it.

Last time, he had drawn longevity from Angelica, but its price was vicious. He would have preferred an Immortal Body.

Besides.

Angelica would teach Li Dan anything he wanted to learn, so it hardly mattered what he drew. Even if he drew a talent for witchcraft, he would still have to learn it step by step.

He did not particularly like witchcraft. Its prerequisites were too cruel.

Early spellcasting also required all kinds of strange tools. It would take decades at least to reach Angelica's level.

He would rather focus on Fusion.

Besides, Li Dan liked the path of Ghost Domains more now. Water spread beneath his feet, and whenever he wanted, he could create a deep lake.

Entering the lake also let him shut out some weaker supernatural forces.

Ordinary ghosts and evil ghosts sank as soon as they touched its surface. Unfortunately, Li Dan's own supernatural power was limited, so his Ghost Domain was not particularly strong either.

A slightly stronger evil spirit could ignore it altogether.

Still room for improvement, then.

With what he wanted in hand, Li Dan left Miami without looking back.

The most important thing now was finding a disposable pawn to pay the price for a wish.

Unfortunately, Li Dan had already rounded up the entire nest of Deformed Person ogres. Otherwise, he could have gone back to catch more.

If it came down to it, he would have to sacrifice Leatherface Jeb.

Of all Li Dan's captives, Leatherface from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre was the least useful. Li Dan had only contained him because he happened to be there.
