"You're still thinking about that?" Sea Turtle felt truly speechless.

"Shut up! You believe I'll stew you in a soup?!" Master Roshi planted his hands on his hips, his voice furious.

Sea Turtle curled his lip but said nothing more.

"Is sea turtle stew good?" Broly's eyes sparkled with excitement as he asked.

"Of course." Master Roshi nodded. "It's quite a tonic."

"Uh..." Broly rubbed his chin, sizing up Sea Turtle from head to toe.

Sea Turtle: "..."

"I... I don't taste good! I'm not tasty at all!" Sea Turtle panicked, trembling in fear.

If Broly actually ate him, that would be a turtle's life tragedy.

"Uh... is that okay? I agree, I think Bulma wouldn't mind." Son Goku readily agreed on Bulma's behalf.

"You're really generous." Master Roshi suddenly felt that this young man named Son Goku was a great guy.

With that, Master Roshi shot Broly a fierce glare.

Look at Goku.

Now look at you!

Both of you have tails, so why is the gap between people so huge?

"Don't tell Chi-Chi about this, and especially don't let Ox-King know, got it?" Master Roshi patted Son Goku on the shoulder and whispered.

"Got it." Son Goku nodded.

"Good, then it's settled. I'm going to get the Banana Fan now." Master Roshi was thrilled and immediately ran into the room to fetch it.

But soon, Master Roshi poked his head out the window.

"Broly, do you remember where I put the Banana Fan?" Master Roshi asked Broly.

"No idea." Broly shook his head.

"Didn't you always use it as a pot holder?" Sea Turtle asked.

"Pot holder?" Chi-Chi wiped her sweat.

"Is that the Banana Fan? Oh no!" Master Roshi was stunned. "That day, some wonton soup spilled on it, and I thought it was too dirty, so I threw it away."

"Ah..." Son Goku gasped.

"Threw it away?" Chi-Chi's face was bewildered.

"Really can't be trusted." Sea Turtle sighed.

"Wah... we can't put out the fire." Chi-Chi burst into tears.

"And we won't get the Dragon Balls either." Son Goku sighed.

"Looks like I'll have to go to Flame Mountain myself to put out the fire!" Master Roshi made his decision, his expression growing more serious.

"Huh?" Chi-Chi stopped crying and turned to look at Master Roshi.

"Grandpa can put out that big fire?" Son Goku asked in surprise.

"Of course, no problem. I am Master Roshi!" Master Roshi smiled proudly, then lowered his voice and whispered in Son Goku's ear, "You have to secretly tell Bulma about my condition just now."

"Okay." Son Goku agreed readily.

"Alright, ready to go!" Master Roshi changed into a clean set of clothes.

"Changing clothes on purpose?" Son Goku looked at Master Roshi oddly.

"Of course I need to look presentable." Master Roshi acted as if it were nothing, but inside he grew more and more eager.

"Grandpa can't ride Flying Nimbus, what do we do?" Son Goku asked again.

"Haha, I'm Master Roshi!" Master Roshi laughed heartily and shouted loudly at the sky, "Turtle! Come here!"

"Whoosh whoosh whoosh!"

A Turtle spun down from the air with a roar and landed beside Master Roshi.

"Master Roshi, what are your orders?" Turtle asked respectfully.

Master Roshi directly climbed onto Turtle's back and commanded, "Take me to Flame Mountain."

"Understood!" Turtle nodded.

"Broly, Sea Turtle, watch the house well." Master Roshi ordered.

"Hey, don't embarrass yourself too much." Sea Turtle advised.

But Broly said nothing, just sat back down on the picnic mat, ready to continue eating.

Son Goku was a bit tempted too, leaning in and sniffing.

"Want some?" Broly asked.

"Yeah, yeah!" Son Goku nodded excitedly.

"No way!" Broly refused without hesitation.

Son Goku: "..."

"Alright, let's get going," Master Roshi urged.

"Fine..." Son Goku agreed reluctantly.

"Whoosh!"

Both of them launched into the air and quickly vanished from sight.

The moment Master Roshi left, Broly sized up the Sea Turtle again from head to toe.

The Sea Turtle couldn't help but shiver, trembling in fear as he hurriedly said, "Broly... don't do anything rash! I really don't taste good! Think about it—how could my bathwater be any good to eat?"

"That's a fair point." Broly nodded thoughtfully, then stopped paying the Sea Turtle any attention.

About an hour later.

Master Roshi came back beaming.

This time, he had a look of pure delight on his face, as if he'd just tasted honey.

But what Master Roshi didn't know was...

The girl he'd been playing with wasn't Bulma at all—it was Oolong in disguise.

Not that it mattered much to Master Roshi.

Anyway, that trip out had been a blast for him.

That girl named Bulma was really wild!

Another few days passed.

Broly was sunbathing on a beach chair.

Suddenly, a golden cloud came whistling toward him from the sky.

Broly recognized it at once.

It was that kid named Son Goku.

"Thump!"

Son Goku landed from the Flying Nimbus and gave Broly a friendly greeting.

Broly nodded without saying much.

But Broly keenly noticed that the kid named Son Goku had brought bedding with him.

"Grandpa, I'm here!" Son Goku shouted loudly at the door, holding up his bedding.

Yet there was no sound from inside the room.

"Is Grandpa not home?" Son Goku asked.

"He is," Broly replied with a single word.

Son Goku peeked through the window and saw Master Roshi inside watching TV, drooling like crazy.

"Grandpa, I'm here!" Son Goku stepped up to greet him.

"One, two! One, two! One, two..." Master Roshi ignored Son Goku, drooling as he interacted with the girl on the screen.

"Ahh!" Son Goku yelled right in Master Roshi's ear.

Master Roshi jumped, plopped onto the floor, and turned to look at Son Goku in surprise.

Son Goku gave a goofy grin.

"What are you doing?" Master Roshi asked.

"Grandpa, I'm here to train," Son Goku said quickly.

"Hold on... hold on." Master Roshi waved a hand.

"Grandpa, I'm hungry." Son Goku patted his stomach.

"There's a fridge over there, help yourself." Master Roshi pointed at the refrigerator.

"Putting food in such a weird box..." Son Goku muttered as he opened the fridge and started eating.

After the TV show ended, Master Roshi stretched lazily and got up from the floor.

When he saw that Son Goku had cleaned out the entire fridge, Master Roshi was at a loss for words.

Were all kids with tails this bottomless?

"What exactly did you come for?" Master Roshi asked.
