Because of the Time Chamber, Rhode and Aila felt as though they had spent a long time there. In reality, from arriving on Planet Namek, gathering the Dragon Balls, making the wish, entering the Time Chamber, and then dealing with the Space Pirates—

All those events combined had taken less than two days in the outside world.

Besides, they had received the Great Elder's kindness. Leaving directly without even meeting him after emerging from the Time Chamber would have been rather inappropriate.

Moreover, the Great Elder possessed many incredible abilities, especially the ability to unleash someone's potential.

If possible, Rhode also wanted the Great Elder to help unleash his potential. He did not know how much stronger he might become, but he was certain he would be stronger than before.
