Background / History

Wang Gang operated an auction house in Suzhou-Hangzhou. When auction goods were stolen, he tested Chen Qianye and Chen Tong’s motives without truly suspecting them, then promised to recover the items within two days. He had placed his own energy imprint on every product and traced the stolen goods to the center of Star Luo Forest. 103

Despite his age, Wang Gang entered Star Luo Forest alone using Sword Control. There, an old enemy from the Giant Python Clan revealed that Wang Gang’s past acquisition of Natural Energy had been tied to a wider conspiracy surrounding the war in Suzhou-Hangzhou. 104 106

The Giant Python’s revelations forced Wang Gang to reconsider the sacrifice he made in his youth.
