Ye Chen awakened the Emperor Aurora Sword, an Extreme Light martial soul, at Sea God Pavilion. Mu En personally guided the awakening and later accepted him as his final disciple. His first Soul Ring manifested as an unusual golden ring after the martial soul absorbed it in a manner unlike ordinary Soul Ring absorption. 2 6 8

His Light Soul Power proved uniquely pure: it completely cleansed Ma Xiaotao’s Evil Fire outbreak, though the disparity in their Soul Power nearly exhausted him. This purification ability became central to his support of Ma Xiaotao and later Tang Ya. 4 52
