After the veto, Jiang Yang quickly joined the server for Map 1, but unfortunately, Little Overlord was in there.
They waited a full five minutes, but Mouz's in-game leader still couldn't get in.
Jiang Yang typed a question into chat: "what happened?"
Mouz's lurker, ropz, replied, "This is PGL!"
Jiang Yang asked MO what that meant.
MO explained, "That's just how PGL is. Something always goes wrong at their events. At the 2017 Krakow Major, they even smashed a computer during the grand final."
"If nothing goes wrong at one of their tournaments, it feels like something's missing."
Jiang Yang was rather surprised. "Is it really that bad?"
Over in the Mouz player booth, everyone was waiting for the captain's equipment to be repaired.
Han Wang, looking full of confidence, noticed that their captain seemed troubled and reassured him, "It's no big deal. They'll sort it out in a few minutes."
The man with the ID dexter, nicknamed Kun Kun, shook his head.
"That's not what's bothering me. I feel like we messed up the veto. Now there's no chance to fix it, and I'm already regretting it," Kun Kun said, realizing it a little too late.
"We wanted to avoid playing any overly complicated maps, but it looks like we ended up banning all of their weak ones. That young genius on the other team is really good on Mirage and Dust II."
During the first day of matches, Steel Helmet's young had played so brilliantly that he was impossible to overlook.
He'd pulled off a 1v5, and on Small Town, he'd racked up more than forty kills in a single regulation match. It was impossible not to notice.
Every team had their eye on this young genius who'd seemingly appeared out of nowhere.
But today, he'd had
