Hermes lay peacefully, Alex kindly turned him over.

Hermes ' chest heaved a few times, finally managing to catch his breath. He glanced at Alex first, then slowly turned his face to Avery, his eyes brimming with resentment.

Avery was leaning back on the cushions rubbing his shoulders when he turned his head and met this gaze. His expression froze for a moment, and he stood up, took two steps to the side, and walked in a big circle from one end of Hermes' feet to the other.

Hermes's gaze followed him.

The group of people slowly got up and walked forward. When they reached Regulus, they stood in a row, and no one spoke first. They looked at each other without saying a word.

I wonder if Regulus was satisfied with my performance just now.

Regulus glanced at his shoulder.

Baruk had been excited since the beginning, his spider head constantly following the spells cast on the field, looking towards wherever an explosion occurred.

Regulus reached out and scooped it up, then threw it onto the floor.

Go have fun.

Baruk spread his eight legs, the shrinking Transfiguration was lifted, his dark red body rapidly expanded, his spider legs lengthened segment by segment, his carapace rose, and the reddish-brown patterns at his joints reappeared. The more than two-meter-long Acromantula stood in the center of the Training Ground.

With two clicks of its claws, it stirred up a cloud of dust, pushing away half of the burnt slag on the floor.

Baruk raised his spider head, a rough voice squeezing out from between his mouthparts. "Little spider."

It excitedly wiggled its long legs a few times and dashed off.

Avery turned and ran, Alex reacted quickly, and Lina grabbed Samuel's sleeve and pulled him aside.

Baruk landed on all eight legs in alternating steps, and a series of dull tremors echoed beneath the wooden plank.

Avery roared and charged forward, casting a Petrifying Spell with his backhand. The beam struck the back armor, blasting out several Mars.

Baruk ignored it all and darted forward. As he ran, his rear end jutted out, and a clump of spider silk shot out from his web-spinning device, covering his head.

Lina swung her wand fiercely, severing the spider silk, and Samuel followed up with an Exploding Charm that landed in front of Baruk, shattering the wooden planks.

Baruk pushed off the ground with all eight legs at the same time, his body leaping over the explosion and landing on the other side. His long legs bent and straightened, and his speed was not affected in the slightest.

The four began to move in different directions. Alex could always see the positions of the other two. Lina was on his left, and Samuel was a little further to his right and behind. Whoever was being watched by Baruk, the other two would immediately interfere from the side.

Avery ran off to the other side alone, turning back to yell as he went, and then started taunting, "Baruk! Look this way!"

Baruk really looked, his eyes fixed on it.

Avery immediately regretted it.

Spider silk flew overhead, and he ducked to avoid it, his feet still moving forward. When he looked back, there was nothing behind him.

Baruk stepped onto the side wall, his eight legs moving horizontally in alternating motion, his dark red body brushing against the stone surface as he passed him, then turned the corner and landed in front of Avery.

Avery didn't have time to stop, and charged forward, activating his Shield Charm.

Baruk raised one of his forelegs, his heavy toe slamming against the silver barrier. The Shield Charm shook violently, but managed to hold on.

Just as the second front leg was raised, three spells shot out from behind and to the side at the same time.

Baruk withdrew the leg he was about to slap Avery from, turned around and slipped through the gap between the three spells, landing on the wall and climbing all the way to the ceiling.

It hung upside down, chasing after the four people, its eight legs moving incredibly fast, spraying clumps of white spider silk onto the ground.

Hermes ' eyes followed Baruk's movements on the ceiling.

If I really wanted one, why couldn't the Mulciber family get their hands on such a clever, large spider?

Regulus stood by the wall watching, while Baruk played happily, his chelicerae clicking continuously.

Just as Avery had managed to free half of his body from a clump of spider silk, Baruk leaped down from the ceiling and landed with a thud in front of him, his chelicerae spread wide, ready to pin the fleeing spider back down.

Avery's lips suddenly curled into a grin as he watched the giant spider hurtling towards him.

He flipped through a lot of random books during the holiday, and it's hard to say how much of the other content he remembered, but there was one spell that he specifically looked up for Baruk.

He planted one foot on the ground, pulled himself out of the spider silk, and brought his wand to his chest, striking a rather serious pose.

Baruk continued charging forward, all eight eyes fixed on him.

Avery suddenly thrust his wand forward. "Arania Exumai!"

The blue-white impact struck Baruk squarely on the forehead, lifting the over two-meter-long spider off the ground. Its eight legs spread out in mid-air, its body flipped over, and it slammed onto the wooden floor with a thud. It then rolled half a circle due to inertia, belly up, with all eight long legs raised in the air.

The Training Ground fell silent.

Avery, holding his wand, was stunned. He looked down at the tip of the wand, then at Baruk, who was kicking his legs in the air opposite him, and slowly raised his eyebrows.

It works so well?

Baruk's eight legs swished twice in the air, his big buttocks sticking up, spraying spider silk that stuck to the ceiling. With a pull, he lifted himself up, twisted his body, and flipped himself back over.

Upon landing again, the spider slowly turned its head towards Avery, its eight amber eyes all fixed on him, and its chelicerae clicked.

Avery's smile froze, he cursed, and turned to run away.

On the floor in the distance, Hermes propped half his head up with his arm, ready to watch the spectacle.

Baruk climbed the wall to give chase, his eight legs tumbling sideways, blocking the path in front of him.

Avery slammed on the brakes, leaning back as he unleashed a second Spider-Banishing Charm: "Arania Exumai!"

Baruk was prepared; he braced himself against the wall, and the spell passed through his abdomen, slamming into the cushion behind him.

Avery's face fell.

Lina couldn't help but laugh from the other side, "Avery's in for a world of trouble."

Alex and Samuel stood next to her, and the three of them took two steps back to make room for Baruk; they couldn't disturb it now.

Baruk bounced off the wall, Avery's head turned white, and spider silk covered his face.

He lunged forward, but couldn't dodge; his ankle got stuck, and with a gentle tug from Baruk, Avery fell face-first to the ground.

"Wait, wait!"

The second tuft of spider silk entangled his two legs together, Avery began to pupate forward, while Baruk dragged him backward.

He dug his hands into the ground, his ten fingers clawing wildly at the wooden board. "Alex!"

Baruk dragged Avery toward the wall, and Avery was swayed back and forth on the wooden plank by the spider silk.

Alex and his two companions followed behind, aiming their wands several times but not daring to release them.

Baruk, with a spider silk tethering his rear, dragged Avery around in circles, occasionally turning back to flick his chelicerae and make two clicking sounds.

Alex two companions were being led around by it. When they tried to block it to the left, it would circle around to the right. When they tried to block it to the right, it would climb over the wall and circle back again.

Baruk was having a great time, while Avery suffered in the back, his voice trembling from the jolting. "You'd better save me first!"

The ensuing chase was both more chaotic and smoother.

The three started running separately: one ran around to the front, one ran to the side, and one looked for an opportunity from behind.

Baruk started running back and forth between the walls and the ceiling, still dragging Avery along behind him, swinging him around.

Occasionally, upon landing, it will directly crash its body into people.

Baruk won in the end.

Avery was pulled from the ceiling by spider silk, headfirst, dangling precariously in mid-air.

Baruk stood below, his chelicerae clicking incessantly, occasionally snagging him with his forelegs to keep him from stopping.

Alex, Lina, and Samuel lay side by side against the wall, white spider silk wrapped from their shoulders to their feet, leaving only their heads exposed.

They certainly received preferential treatment compared to Avery, who was hanging upside down.

Baruk nudged Avery a few more times, then excitedly ran back to Regulus's side.

With its body over two meters long, it lay sprawled on the ground, its head held high, and its chelicerae made a long, clicking sound.

Regulus reached out and patted its big head.

Baruk was even happier, and ran back to the four of them, poking Avery first. "Little Spider."

Poke Alex again. "Spider-Man."

Lina also got a tap. "Little Spider."

Samuel's turn. "Little Spider."

Hermes was still lying in the same spot. Baruk turned his spider head to look at him, stared for a while, then strode over with his long legs and looked down.

This little spider is the most pitiful.

Baruk stretched out his foreleg and pressed the shoulder that had just been raised back down. "Little Spider."

Regulus turned and walked towards his Private Cabin: "Settle in yourself."

Baruk immediately lifted his leg to follow, but he turned back and waved his hand. "Keep playing."

Baruk immediately turned his head back, his eight eyes fixed on Avery again.

Avery's face was already flushed red, and the back-and-forth shaking added a touch of white to the red.

He swallowed hard and struggled to lift his head. "Baruk, let's talk about this."

Baruk raised his foreleg and nudged him again, making two clicks.

The Stone Gate closed behind them, and the shouts in the Training Ground immediately subsided.

Regulus sat cross-legged, closed his eyes, and sank his consciousness into the depths of his mind. The Star Orbit unfolded, and the six stars revolved independently.

The Magic Power continues to grow, the spirit continues to expand, and the body changes accordingly.

At the current rate, it will take another month or two.

Regulus opened his eyes. The stone house was dark, and the light source above him fell in front of him.

He raised his right hand, and a tiny white Light Point appeared at his fingertip. He looked at it for a while, and then a second Light Point appeared beside him.

Two Light Point, equally bright, are suspended in mid-air.

Regulus began adjusting, and a slight difference appeared in the brightness and rhythm of the two Light Point. They then resynchronized, only to drift apart again.

The light and shadow on the stone wall changed, and one area gradually darkened.

A small piece of stone floated up from the floor and hovered between the two Light Point.

He continued to adjust the two beams of light: brightness, phase, and propagation direction.

The edges of the stone chips began to blur, the outlines became lighter, and after a while, it looked as if a small piece had been dug out of the middle, making it visually incomplete.

He continued adjusting, and the stone chips gradually disappeared from his sight until only the stone wall behind remained. From a different angle, some of the stone chips were revealed again.

Previously, these things only existed in the realm of imagination: Critical Light, Entangled Light, Compressed Light, Phase Light, Fusion Light —all hovering in the distance, out of reach.

Now his hands can touch the light, adjust its brightness, shift its phase, and even remove something from his field of vision.

Having reached this level of Magic Manipulation and Magic Perception, as well as the level of Magic itself, the Phase Light went from being an idea to something in his hands.

After an unknown amount of time, Regulus stood on the other side of the stone house, changing his angle, and the stone that had been suspended in mid-air disappeared.

I went to the left, but still couldn't see anything. I went around to the right, but I could only see the wall behind me.

Regulus stopped and reached into the empty space, pinching the stone out of it.

The light field dispersed, and gray stone chips reappeared between the two fingers.

Phase Light, not bad.
