Avery was assigned to First-year Dormitory A with Regulus Black, Hermes Mulciber, and Alex Rosier. He entered Hogwarts as a proud member of the Pure-blood inner circle, accustomed to supporting his opinions with his father's authority and the judgments of family elders.
