Background / History

Purple Moon Civilization had been infected by Demon Eyes approximately ten thousand years before its destruction. It commemorated the infection as its “New Birthday,” treating it as the civilization’s rebirth rather than a catastrophe. Its calendar year lasted roughly 559 days. 370

Before Li Qingsong began pursuing it, Purple Moon Civilization operated testing grounds at Draco YC. There, it conducted brutal experiments on Electromagnetic Lifeforms, modified them into obedient “Electric Slaves,” and used specialized star-approaching spacecraft to maintain control over them. Electric Calamity escaped only because its predecessors sacrificed themselves; Purple Moon Civilization later removed its remaining infrastructure with hydrogen bombs. 315 316 370

During a resupply stop in the Solar System, Purple Moon Civilization initially detected no life or industry from beyond roughly one trillion kilometers from the Sun. Upon crossing that threshold, it detected early-Electroweak human industry on Earth and discovered that an invisible barrier had concealed the Solar System from distant observation. Rather than flee a phenomenon linked to a higher-level power, the Demon Eye-infected civilization secretly observed humanity and abducted several million humans as samples. 370

It later carried those captives through interstellar space while seeking to offer them to the Space-grade Magic Eye. It concealed its identity as the “Rovik Civilization” when Li Qingsong finally located its fleet in the Piscis Austrinus H11 System. 344 370

Purple Moon Civilization was assessed as more technologically advanced than Li Qingsong’s civilization during their first contact. Its fleet had previously reached speeds near 90% of light speed, and its overall strength was described as that of a peak Strong Nuclear Civilization approaching the Gravitational stage. 311 343 351

Its own gravity technology was limited: the Gravity Cannons it fielded at Pegasus G76 were simplified weapons supplied by the Space-grade Magic Eye, rather than proof that Purple Moon Civilization had independently become a Gravitational Civilization. 362 370

Pursuit and discovery

Li Qingsong began pursuing Purple Moon Civilization after learning that it had tortured Electromagnetic Lifeforms and held human survivors as pets or display objects. He also believed it might possess information about humanity’s disappearance. 311

His search led him through Draco YC, Purple Moon Civilization’s former testing ground, and across more than a thousand light-years of space. The civilization repeatedly erased evidence of its stopovers, though Li Qingsong eventually tracked its exhaust plumes and received a likely location from the Red Star Alliance’s Space Fluctuation Detection Network. 315 316 329 342

Piscis Austrinus H11 War

Li Qingsong confirmed Purple Moon Civilization’s identity after observing its industrial scale and fleet designs in the Piscis Austrinus H11 System. The civilization initially used the false name “Rovik Civilization” and requested that his forces leave. 344

Li Qingsong attempted to exchange technology for the return of the human captives. Purple Moon Civilization admitted holding them but refused the transaction, prompting open war. 345

During the conflict, Li Qingsong exploited coordination failures in the weaker Sixth Fleet, captured Planet One, and built an Industrial System there. Purple Moon Civilization attempted to retake the planet and trigger a Stellar Storm using Electric Slaves, but Electric Calamity’s forces interfered. 349 350

The stalemate ended only after outside developments forced both sides to withdraw. Purple Moon Civilization released one residential spaceship containing roughly two million humans, but secretly retained additional human captives. The released humans were later discovered to have been infected by Demon Eyes. 352 353 370

Flight and rearguard battle

Purple Moon Civilization left Piscis Austrinus H11 in a hurry, apparently seeking to join the Demon Eye Alliance’s wider war. Li Qingsong pursued it for centuries, repeatedly upgrading his fleet and following traces from its resupply stops. 354 357 358

During the pursuit, Purple Moon Civilization deployed a two-million-warship rearguard fleet and later launched a desperate suicide assault. Li Qingsong destroyed most of the force with the Unified Force Field, captured several thousand ships, and confirmed that the civilization consisted entirely of Demon Eye creatures. 356 357

A later Unified Force Field strike destroyed at least 200,000 Purple Moon ships, including more than 6,000 residential spaceships, causing more than 12 billion deaths. 359

Pegasus G76 and destruction

Following direct orders from the Space-grade Magic Eye, Purple Moon Civilization traveled to the Pegasus G76 System to trigger a nova explosion and free the Demon Eye Lord from the Destroyer Civilization’s restrictions. 360 361
