History

Creation and early order

Pangu created heaven and earth, giving rise to all things in Hong Huang. Its early history included the Heaven Creation Tribulation, Fierce Beast Tribulation, Dragon-Han Tribulation, and the conflict of the Demonic Dao. Afterward, Hongjun established his Dao in the world, preached to living beings, and saw his six disciples attain Saint status. He also appointed the East Prince and West Queen Mother to establish the Immortal Court and govern the realm. 1

Arrival of the Supreme Hongmeng Ranking

A black scroll later descended from above the Thirty-Three Heavens and unfurled across Hong Huang's sky, blotting out the sun and spanning the void. The scroll identified itself as the Supreme Hongmeng Ranking; neither the Saints nor Hongjun could deduce its origin. When Hongjun attempted to seize it, a spear strike containing Great Dao power shattered his manifested palm. 1

The Ranking's treasure lists exposed hidden treasures, surviving ancient figures, and the influence of Dao Lord Taichu and Hongmeng Palace. Its rewards triggered contests across Hong Huang for origins, Primordial Violet Qi, and other supreme fortunes. 2 3 6 13

Repeated calamities

The clash between the Sanqing and the Pangu True Body caused spatial collapse, disasters across the Four Seas, and destructive Earth Fire. The Supreme Hongmeng Ranking suppressed these catastrophes, restoring calm to Hong Huang before the damage could annihilate it. 87 88

Hong Huang later expanded after the Heavenly Dao merged with the Chaos Bead. Its vitality and spiritual energy increased, and even the barren West began showing signs of renewed spiritual growth. 169

Chaos Demon Gods subsequently invaded through a passage connected to the world's edge, prompting Saints, the Dragon Clan, Human Race guardians, and other powers to mobilize. Dao Lord Taichu later left the surviving Chaos Demon Gods to Hong Huang's defenders while the Karma Demon God remained outside the world to oversee them. 179 252

Heavenly Dao and Earthly Dao conflict

Dao Lord Taichu revealed that the Great Dao was not the true root of Hong Huang's crisis. 200 The Heavenly Dao's eventual withdrawal was then announced by Hongjun, who stated that the Earthly Dao would replace it within the Primordial World. 264

Nuwa became the Heavenly Dao Supreme, while the Earthly Dao gained its own supporters and Saint positions. When Zhunti and Yuanshi submitted to the Great Dao, both the Heavenly Dao and Earthly Dao declared them enemies of the Myriad Races of Hong Huang and identified the Great Dao's obsession as the realm's tribulation. 267 282

Supreme Hongmeng Ranking

The Ranking is Hong Huang's most visible protective force. It repelled Hongjun's attempt to interfere with it, suppressed disasters caused by Saint-level warfare, and later stabilized the Primordial World when a new crisis approached. 1 88 249

Chaos Demon Gods

Chaos Demon Gods are external threats capable of entering Hong Huang from Chaos. Their arrival was treated as a true calamity distinct from Hongmeng Palace's actions, requiring cooperation from the Saints, ancient clans, and other defenders. 179

Great Dao's obsession

The Great Dao's obsession is identified as a tribulation of the Primordial World. Zhunti and Yuanshi's surrender to the Great Dao turned them into declared enemies of Hong Huang's Myriad Races. 282
