Yuan Ling'er's past

Before using the identity of Bai Ling'er, she was Yuan Ling'er, a being nurtured by the Source Sea and Dao Lord Taichu's former Dao Companion. The two met, cultivated together, and spent countless epochs growing stronger. 457

When Taichu ascended to the Source Realm, Dao Yuan secretly targeted Yuan Ling'er. Her True Spirit shattered, leaving her apparently lost. Taichu searched throughout the Source Sea, subdued powerful beings, and eventually scattered his own True Spirit through an ancient technique in order to find her. 457

Special envoy of the Source Sea Sacred Palace

Bai Ling first appeared as a proud special envoy of the Source Sea Sacred Palace, arriving at Hongmeng Palace on a giant white horned python and demanding Dao Lord Taichu's respect. Her token disclosed that the Source Sea was divided into eight sea regions and twenty-nine voids under the Sacred Palace's governance. 374
