Background
Ten thousand years before the Heavenly Screen’s connection to Douluo Continent, Human Emperor Ye Xuan reached the Dou Di realm, founded the Human Emperor Hall, and unified the Dou Qi Continent. He also established Star Sky Towers across the continent to convert the energies of the stars and chaos into heaven-and-earth spiritual energy. 8
The resulting spiritual-energy density strengthens the continent’s inhabitants and environment: humans are born with pure Dou Qi, while even ordinary animals can gradually become Magical Beasts. 8
The Myriad Worlds Heavenly Screen connects Douluo Continent to the Doupo World and begins randomly transporting humans and Soul Beasts there. Selected individuals must survive for one year to return with a Treasure. The first batches receive Newbie Protection and are sent to remote areas described as having the weakest average strength. 1
Environment
- High gravity — Newly arrived Douluo natives struggle to stand, walk, and use their power under the world’s gravity. 2
- Dense spiritual energy — The ambient energy can accelerate Soul Power cultivation, nourish bodies, and heal injuries; in some regions it condenses into multicolored mist. 11 22 23
- Dangerous wildlife — Even small creatures may be lethal, including Water Shuttle Fish capable of firing skull-piercing water arrows and juvenile Green Wood Apes capable of killing a Hundred-Year Nether Wolf. 2 3
- Magic Beast territories — Forests and mountain ranges contain powerful Magical Beasts, including the Amethyst Winged Lion King and the Nether Pool Cold Flood Dragon. 12 15
- Chaotic void currents — Certain arrival locations contain void currents capable of shredding a Soul Douluo before he can react. 12

Cultivation System
The Doupo World’s primary system is Dou Qi cultivation, whose known realms are listed below. 8
| Realm | Documented capabilities |
|---|---|
| Dou Disciple | Uses Dou Qi to temper the body, reinforce bones and muscles, and improve attack and defense; a third-stage practitioner can shatter stone slabs. At the peak, a practitioner condenses a Dou Qi Vortex. 8 |
| Dou Master | Can form Dou Qi Gauze, resist attacks below the realm, and destroy an entire courtyard with a full-power strike. 8 |
| Dou Grandmaster | Can form Dou Qi Armor, leap roughly one hundred meters, withstand arrow volleys, face thousands of soldiers, and destroy a hundred-meter building. 8 |
| Dou Spirit | Can freely condense Dou Qi into objects and draw on heaven-and-earth spiritual energy; attacks may flatten an area within ten miles. 8 |
| Dou King | Battles can devastate areas spanning one hundred miles. 8 |
| Dou Emperor | Battles can devastate areas spanning one hundred miles. 8 |
| Dou Ancestor | Can manipulate space and destroy cities. 8 |
| Dou Venerate | Can manipulate space and destroy cities. 8 |
| Dou Saint | Can create worlds. 8 |
| Dou Di | Legendary supreme realm; a casual strike can destroy a world, and a cultivator can empower members of the same bloodline into supreme powerhouses. 8 9 |
Dou Qi Vortices
At the peak of Dou Disciple, practitioners condense a Dou Qi Vortex. The four grades, from lowest to highest, are: 8
- Human-grade
- Profound-grade
- Earth-grade
- Heaven-grade
Professions and Technologies
- Alchemists — Refine pills using strong Soul Power, fire-attributed Dou Qi, and a trace of wood attribute. Their products include pills capable of extending life, healing injuries, and reviving the dead. 23 33
- Formation Masters — Create and control formations; can create spirit entities to manage their power. 34
- Rune Masters — Use runes to create rune spirits and enable functions such as void traversal. 34
- Artifact Refiners — One of several professions developed under Human Emperor Hall guidance. 34
- Spiritual Plant Masters — One of several professions developed under Human Emperor Hall guidance. 34
- Void Arks — Vessels equipped with defensive formations and void-traversing runes. Their Ship Spirits can understand commands and control the vessel’s systems. 34
Races and Creatures
- Humans — Born with pure Dou Qi due to the continent’s spiritual-energy environment. 8
- Snake People — A distinct race with settlements in the Tagor Desert; they face persecution and trafficking by humans. 17
- Magical Beasts — Spiritually nourished animals with great strength, intelligence, and—in some cases—the ability to speak human language. 8 15
- Ancient Void Dragons — A dragon race represented by Zi Yan; their dragon might causes even Gu Yuena and Di Tian to kneel, and they possess exceptional spatial abilities. 27 28
Special Constitutions
- Poison Body of Misfortune — Allows its bearer to continually increase Dou Qi by consuming poisons. A Human Emperor-era solution prevents the former risk of losing control and dying from poison-energy backlash. 9
- Triple Jade-Green Snake Flower Pupils — A legendary physique that can control snake-type Magical Beasts and absorb their energy; its lowest documented potential reaches Dou Saint. 36
- Dou Di Bloodline — Listed among the world’s special constitutions and bloodline-related powers. 9
- Star Body — Listed among the world’s special constitutions. 9
- Fire Spirit Body — Listed among the world’s special constitutions. 9
Relations with Douluo Continent
- The Heavenly Screen presents the Doupo World as a source of Martial Soul evolution opportunities, life-extending and resurrection pills, and a cultivation system capable of granting godlike power. 1
- Early arrivals reveal a severe power disparity: Soul Masters and Soul Beasts who are powerful on Douluo Continent are frequently killed by local creatures, mercenaries, villagers, or children. 3 5 12 21 27
- Some Douluo arrivals gain benefits from local resources, including Dugu Yan’s conversion toward Dou Qi through Dragon Saliva Fruit and Tang Hao’s Soul Power and Martial Soul evolution through medicinal waste. 19 24 34
- The world’s existence destabilizes Douluo Continent’s assumptions about its Soul Master and divine power systems. 8 9 26
