Selection and arrival in the Dou Qi Continent

Ning Rongrong was selected as one of five supplementary participants sent from the Douluo Continent to the Doupo World. As a Level 28 auxiliary Soul Master, her selection alarmed Ning Fengzhi, Sword Douluo, and Bone Douluo, who feared she could not survive the wilderness alone 4.

She arrived beside a cliff in the Monster Beast Mountain Range and initially broke down in fear, remembering Soul Emperor Qin Ming's death. After realizing that crying would not change her situation, she forced herself to stand and cautiously search for safety 4 6.

Her first attempt at survival ended when a swarm of Rock Ants pursued her. Believing them to be deadly beasts like those that had killed Qin Ming, she used her Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Pagoda's amplification to increase her speed, but the Dou Qi Continent's gravity hindered her escape. Qing Tan's mercenary escort dispersed the ants with a Flame Slash and rescued her 6.

Trusting Qing Tan

Qing Tan discovered that Ning Rongrong possessed no Dou Qi, which was abnormal for inhabitants of the Dou Qi Continent. Unable to survive independently in the unfamiliar world, Ning Rongrong chose to reveal that she came from the Douluo Continent and explain the Myriad Worlds Heavenly Screen in exchange for Qing Tan's protection 7.

Her disclosure made her the only surviving member of her batch, but it also provoked widespread condemnation on the Douluo Continent. Many Soul Masters accused her of betraying their world, while Oscar defended her decision as necessary for survival 7 10.

Qing Tan brought Ning Rongrong to the Medicine Immortal Hall in Qingshan Town and planned to entrust her to Xiao Yi Xian, believing the Human Emperor Hall would reward information about another world and the Heavenly Screen 7 9 10.

She is pragmatic and adaptable. Recognizing that secrecy would leave her isolated, she trusted Qing Tan with her origin; later, she openly sought to abandon Soul Power for the stronger Dou Qi system 7 32.

Despite this ambition, she values kindness and repayment. She sincerely promises not to forget Qing Tan after Qing Tan saves her life and gives her shelter 10. Her desire to secure rewards from the Human Emperor Hall also makes her wary of Qian Renxue, whom she sees as competition 35.
