Background / History

Xiao Xuan awakens as a child in Xiao Sheng City with memories from a previous life, having been renamed after the figure Xiao Xuan by his former parents. He resolves to use those memories and his exceptional birth to surpass the limits of his past. His bloodline test identifies a Divine Bloodline with potential for nine-star Dou Saint and possibly the long-absent Supreme Emperor Realm. 1

He is the only child of Xiao Feng, the eight-star Dou Saint leader of the Xiao Clan, and Gu Qin, a five-star Dou Saint of the Gu Clan. Born after his parents had been married for nearly two thousand years, he is greatly cherished by both. 1

Rather than relying on his inborn Initial Dou Venerate cultivation, Xiao Xuan accepts its sealing and studies from the lowest levels of the Scripture Pavilion. Under Xiao Gong’s guidance, he reads Yellow- and Profound-tier Dou Techniques and treasures a Yellow-tier soul cultivation Fighting Skill above even ordinary Heaven-tier techniques. 1 2

After becoming Clan Leader, Xiao Xuan discovers that the Xiao Clan’s Dou God bloodline is rapidly drying up.
