After that, Uchiha Tekka left.
The Uchiha Clan had now become completely devoted to their clan head, Uchiha Kazuto. They probably wouldn't hesitate even if he told them to kill themselves; they'd just assume he had some plan.
After all, Uchiha Kazuto was the only member of the Uchiha Clan in all these years to become Hokage. What's more, he had done it openly, in front of everyone, with all eyes upon him and all their hopes resting on him. He had cut down the previous Hokage and become the new one.
This wasn't a coup. It was a purge!
No one else in the Uchiha Clan could have pulled off something like this. If they had kept going with their plans for a coup, using the power of a single clan to fight the entire village, the outcome would have been either their destruction or being wiped out by some bastard.

Unfortunately, by then Uchiha Kazuto had already become clan head and gained the Mangekyō Sharingan. He had also assigned those people to the Police Force, so their doubts never gained traction.
You could say Hiruzen Sarutobi's death wasn't undeserved. Even those of them who knew some of the truth had been taken in, so what chance did old man Hiruzen Sarutobi have, completely in the dark as he was?
It was worth remembering that, aside from a few key moments, Uchiha Kazuto hadn't made any moves
