• Su Yu earned his Soul Grandmaster certification, traveled to the Star Dou Great Forest, and saved the poisoned Qian Renxue from a Man Faced Demon Spider.
• Su Yu and Qian Renxue made a promise before she left him a Spirit Hall token and note, and Su Yu absorbed the spider’s External Soul Bone.
• Chen Xin took Su Yu as his prospective disciple and brought him to the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect, where Su Yu grew close to Ning Rongrong and began sword training.

After the Titan Giant Ape brought Su Yu to the Silver Dragon King, Su Yu gained Gu Yuena’s trust and became master of the forest, leaving to work with its Soul Beasts.

Su Yu returned from the Star Dou Great Forest with Soul Bones and helped Ning Rongrong recover her voice and strength, while their relationship grew closer. The story left off with Su Yu treating Tang San’s poison as Tang San began absorbing a Cave Earth Demon Spider’s Soul Ring.

• Su Yu distributed Soul Bones to trusted allies, cultivated to level fifty-two, and sparred with Er Ming before Zi Ji brought him more Soul Bones from the clans.
