At Locke City, Su Yu uncovered a mass blood sacrifice and fought Blood Fiend, whose final assault left Su Yu’s fate uncertain.

• Su Yu helped five Soul Beasts survive their Heavenly Tribulations, and the birth of the Three-Eyed Golden Lion brought rising Soul Power to the Star Dou Great Forest.
• Su Yu accompanied Gu Yuena to Dragon Valley, where she mourned the fallen Dragon Clan and received the Dragon God Heart.
• Gu Yuena became pregnant with Su Yu’s child, and the two returned to Heaven Dou City as Bibi Dong organized the Exorcism Operation.
• Su Yu demonstrated his strength to the gathered factions, took command of the campaign, and brought Ning Rongrong, Dugu Yan, Zhu Qing, and Xiao Wu along after ordering them to follow his commands.
• Su Yu led the attack on Locke City, broke through its defenses, and killed several powerful Evil Soul Masters who attacked his forces.

• Su Yu and his allies killed Wrath Crow, Soul Eater, and Ghost Devourer, but Blood Fiend absorbed the power of the dead and advanced to the Ninety-Ninth-Level Peerless Douluo realm.
• Su Yu battled Blood Fiend through the destruction of the Spirit Hall Branch Hall, but after Blood Fiend bombarded his barrier with exploding blood droplets, Su Yu vanished and the hall lay in ruins.

Su Yu helped Bibi Dong abandon the Rakshasa inheritance and obtain the Asura inheritance, then left to find more God inheritances with Shui Yue'er. After helping Shui Yue'er inherit the Water God Position, he accompanied Skywater Academy to Blazing Academy, where Shui Bing'er and Huo Wu's duel ended in a draw.

• Su Yu returned safely from Locke City, and after the Pope Palace banquet, Bibi Dong asked him to help her give up the Rakshasa inheritance and agreed to give their relationship a chance.
• Su Yu used the Investiture of the Gods to remove and seal Bibi Dong's Rakshasa inheritance, then took her on a night-market stroll and brought her to the City of Slaughter.
• Su Yu and Bibi Dong discovered the Asura inheritance, learned that the King of Slaughter was Tang Chen possessed by the Blood Red Nine-Headed Bat King, and defeated him so Bibi Dong could claim the Asura Demon Sword.
• Bibi Dong passed the Asura God's first trial, and she and Su Yu killed the Blood Red Nine-Headed Bat King, allowing her to absorb its hundred-thousand-year Soul Ring and Soul Bone and reach the ninety-ninth level.
• Su Yu spent time with Shui Yue'er at Skywater Academy, gave her a hundred-thousand-year Jade Dolphin torso Soul Bone, and revealed that the Water God inheritance lay at an ancient altar on the rear mountain.
• Su Yu opened the Water God's inheritance grounds and bestowed the Water God Position on Shui Yue'er, whose first trial required her to absorb a fifth Soul Ring.
• After Shui Yue'er completed her first trial, Su Yu accompanied Skywater Academy to Blazing Academy to seek the Fire God inheritance, where Shui Bing'er and Huo Wu fought to a draw and collapsed from exhaustion.
