Xuan Hao joined Spirit Hall under Bibi Dong’s protection, gained power and built a protection-fee society at the academy. After a dangerous Soul Beast hunt brought him into contact with Ah Rou and Xiao Wu, he helped Ah Rou save Xiao Wu, and Ah Rou sacrificed herself to give him her Soul Ring and Soul Bone.

• Xuan Hao awakened the Golden Dragon and Silver Dragon, met Bibi Dong and Hu Liena, and joined them on a trip to the Star Dou Great Forest.
• Bibi Dong helped Xuan Hao obtain an eight-hundred-and-fifty-year Diamond Tiger Soul Ring, and he became her Personal Disciple and enrolled at Spirit Hall Academy.
• Xuan Hao defeated academy students, formed the Peace and Mutual Aid Society, and collected protection fees until Bibi Dong punished him and confined him for training.
• Bibi Dong appointed Xuan Hao to lead Hu Liena, Xie Yue, and Yan on a Soul Beast hunt, where he killed a Golden Lion King and gained Golden Dragon Roar.
• During a Beast Tide, Xuan Hao drew the herd away from his companions, and Ah Rou rescued him and treated his injuries.
• Bibi Dong learned that Xuan Hao had encountered a transformed Hundred-Thousand-Year Soul Beast and brought him with Yue Guan and Gui Mei to search for Ah Rou and Xiao Wu.
• Xuan Hao warned Ah Rou that Bibi Dong’s group was approaching, and Ah Rou hid Xiao Wu before drawing the pursuers away with Xuan Hao.
• Cornered by Bibi Dong, Yue Guan, and Gui Mei, Ah Rou sacrificed her life, soul, and cultivation to merge her Soul Ring and Soul Bone into Xuan Hao.

After fleeing Spirit Hall, Xuan Hao found Xiao Wu, rescued Na'er, and made his way to Heaven Dou City, where his clashes with Xue Beng and Dugu Yan drew the imperial family and Spirit Hall into his affairs. Qian Renxue revealed her identity and tried to recruit him, but Xuan Hao refused, leaving her to consider how to win him over.

• Xuan Hao escaped Spirit City, found Xiao Wu at Nuoding Academy, showed her Ah Rou’s message in a dream, and left after promising to return.
• Xuan Hao recovered the Blue Silver Emperor Right Leg Bone, transplanted Ah Yin, and met Na'er, whom he took with him toward Heaven Dou City.
• Bibi Dong learned Xuan Hao had escaped and sent Yue Guan and Gui Mei to find him, while Xuan Hao persuaded Yue Guan not to force him back yet.
• Xuan Hao defended Na'er from Xue Beng, then forced Xue Beng to apologize and kneel as Xue Qinghe, Ning Fengzhi, and Chen Xin intervened.
• Xuan Hao defeated Yu Tianheng, suppressed Dugu Yan, and took her to the hotel, prompting Emperor Xue Ye to mobilize the Royal Knights and the other factions to respond.
• Dugu Yan agreed to claim she had visited Xuan Hao willingly, easing the crisis, and warned Dugu Bo about the imperial family’s political schemes.
• Qian Renxue revealed herself to Xuan Hao and asked him to help her take the Heaven Dou Empire, but he rejected her recruitment.

Xuan Hao joined Heaven Dou Royal Academy, built a student association, and gained Dugu Bo’s alliance after exposing the poison afflicting him and Dugu Yan. At the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well, Xuan Hao encountered the Dragon Kings, while Na’er awakened her Silver Dragon Martial Soul; the arc ended as Xuan Hao prepared to confront Blue Tyrant Academy.

• Ning Fengzhi welcomed Xuan Hao to Seven Treasure Pavilion, and Xue Qinghe later offered him academy enrollment in exchange for choosing three imperial treasures.
• Xuan Hao chose treasures for himself, Ning Rongrong, and Na’er, then enrolled at Heaven Dou Royal Academy while refusing Qian Renxue’s private invitation.
• Xuan Hao defeated students across the academy and organized them into the Heaven Dou Self-Improvement Association, with fees funding their training.
• Xuan Hao revealed Dugu Bo and Dugu Yan’s poison problem and secured access to the medicinal land in exchange for treating them.

Xuan Hao seized Blue Tyrant Academy, defeated Qian Renxue, and returned to Spirit City with Immortal Herbs that eased Bibi Dong’s anger. He then led Bibi Dong and their companions to the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well, where she instructed him to aid Qian Renxue’s plans in Heaven Dou City.

• Xuan Hao led Heaven Dou Royal Academy students to Blue Tyrant Academy, smashed its gate, defeated Liu Erlong, and claimed the academy after winning their bet.
• Xuan Hao privately demanded monthly protection fees from Liu Erlong, who agreed to pay, and then charged her for the damage.
• Qian Renxue fought Xuan Hao over their treasure dispute, surrendered after he defeated her, and accepted a healing Immortal Herb from him.
• Xuan Hao returned to Spirit City with Immortal Herbs, gave Bibi Dong the Bewitching Heart Demonic Lotus, and arranged herbs for Hu Liena, Xie Yue, and Yan.
• Xuan Hao told Bibi Dong about the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well and its benefits, and she agreed to visit with him and Yue Guan.
• Xie Yue, Yan, and Hu Liena returned with Third Soul Rings, while Xuan Hao urged Bibi Dong to leave for Heaven Dou City so he could return to Na'er.
• Xuan Hao led Bibi Dong, Yue Guan, Gui Mei, and Hu Liena to the hidden well, where Yue Guan recognized the treasure basin and collected rare plants.
• Bibi Dong warned Xuan Hao not to undermine Qian Renxue’s infiltration of Heaven Dou Empire and ordered him to help her gain authority while continuing to demand benefits.
