Xuan Hao returned to Heaven Dou City with Na'er and Hu Liena, strengthened his ties with several factions, and spent years cultivating at the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well. When Ning Rongrong ran away after believing he was avoiding her, Xuan Hao set out to find her and confronted her in Suotuo City.

• Xuan Hao returned to the valley with Na'er, revealed her Silver Dragon King Martial Soul to Bibi Dong and Hu Liena, and learned that her affinity let her safely endure the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well.
• After Bibi Dong warned Xuan Hao to hide his Right Leg Bone and avoid Tang Hao, she left him with Hu Liena and Na'er, and he flew them back to Heaven Dou City.
• Hu Liena defeated Dugu Yan with her Charm, and Xuan Hao took the group to Seven Treasure Pavilion before reassuring Qian Renxue that his many alliances made him difficult to expose as a spy.
• Ning Fengzhi concluded that Spirit Hall was trying to recruit Xuan Hao through Hu Liena, while Xuan Hao encouraged Ning Rongrong to cultivate and secretly gave her an Aromatic Silk Beauty.

Xuan Hao brought Ning Rongrong, Zhu Zhuqing, and Xiao Wu away from Shrek Academy, while Zhu Zhuqing joined his association and gained power from an Immortal Herb and a Soul Bone. After confronting Tang San and Yu Xiao Gang, Xuan Hao led the group toward the Star Dou Great Forest to prepare Zhu Zhuqing for a Soul Ring.

• Xuan Hao reassured Ning Rongrong about Xue Qinghe, then went with her and Na'er to Shrek Academy, where he beat Dai Mubai and Zhao Wuji after standing up for her.
• Xuan Hao took Zhu Zhuqing into his association, gave her the Narcissus Jade Bone and a sixty-thousand-year Dragon Tiger Beast Torso Bone, and watched her defeat Tang San in the Great Soul Arena.
• After assassins attacked the group, Xuan Hao killed them, then helped Ning Rongrong and Zhu Zhuqing leave Shrek Academy.
• Xiao Wu reunited with Xuan Hao and left Shrek with him, while Tang San stayed behind and learned that Xiao Wu had always considered him a friend.

Xuan Hao confronted Bibi Dong about her feelings, then fought her when Rakshasa malice took control and collapsed after borrowing the Dragon Kings’ power. After recovering, he reunited with the girls in Suotuo City, where Zhu Zhuqing rejected Dai Mubai and Xuan Hao left him badly injured.

• Xuan Hao left the Star Dou Great Forest after helping Zhu Zhuqing obtain a five-thousand-year Ghost Tiger soul ring, then killed the Man Faced Demon Spider and took its Eight Spider Lances.
• Xuan Hao gave Bibi Dong the Eight Spider Lances and pressed her about their relationship, but she resisted him and fled when Hu Liena arrived.
• Bibi Dong lost control under Rakshasa malice, and Xuan Hao fought her with the Ice and Fire Dragon Kings’ power until she was knocked unconscious and he collapsed.
• After waking, Xuan Hao promised to stay with Bibi Dong if she wanted him, then left Spirit City and collapsed from the strain of the battle.
• Xuan Hao recovered for two months at the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well, took Ah Yin with him in a flowerpot, and flew to Suotuo City to rejoin the girls.
• Dai Mubai confronted Zhu Zhuqing and demanded she return to him, but she rejected him and declared that she had chosen Xuan Hao.
• Xuan Hao stopped Dai Mubai from grabbing Zhu Zhuqing, then kicked him unconscious after Dai Mubai continued threatening her.
• Zhuo Sheng carried Dai Mubai away in a sack and later admitted that he had sold him for eight hundred gold soul coins.

Zhuo Sheng trained Zhu Zhuqing, dealt with the lingering conflict between Shrek Academy and his group, and confronted Tang Xing about Xiao Wu and his past. After Tang Xing withdrew, Zhuo Sheng recovered from his injuries and prepared to return to Tiandou City.

• Zhuo Sheng began Zhu Zhuqing’s combat training at the Grand Spirit Arena, then arranged sparring with the Imperial Fighting Team to teach her how to handle stronger opponents.
• Qin Ming questioned Zhuo Sheng about his treatment of Shrek’s students, then warned Flender that Yu Xiaogang’s past with Liu Erlong had provoked Zhuo Sheng’s hostility.
• Tang San encountered Xiao Wu and Zhu Zhuqing, and Tang Xing watched as Xiao Wu left to see Zhuo Sheng, prompting Tang Xing to approach him.
