Tongtian leads the Sect of Interception from Jade Purity Palace on Golden Ao Island. As the Investiture of the Gods approaches, he lectures his disciples on the coming tribulation and seeks to maintain discipline within the sect. During this period, he discovers that Lin Chuan possesses unsettling foreknowledge through the latter's inner thoughts, prompting Tongtian to keep him close rather than allow him to leave the sect. 1 3
