As they strolled through the streets of Manaria, Ann hopped along excitedly as she introduced Duanmu Huai to the results of her work. Duanmu Huai walked beside her, looking at the buildings around them and nodding in approval.
"Not bad. It really has the right feel. Great job."
Ever since Ann had begun traveling with Duanmu Huai, especially after seeing the near-future human cities on the Demon Planet, she had been unable to stop thinking about them. She kept talking about bringing those ideas to Manaria. As a result, Ann had naturally returned to Manaria quite often. However, as a princess, she certainly didn't need to handle everything herself. All she had to do was make a plan and hand it over to her subordinates.
Even the planning document had taken Ann quite a bit of effort. After that, she had traveled with Duanmu Huai to the War Planet, the Systems Alliance, the UNSC, and even the world of Faerûn. The architectural styles of all those worlds had opened her eyes, and she had wanted to incorporate every one of them into her plans.
