Duanmu Huai rescued Elisa, obtained the Puppet Master's legacy, and helped Silver City survive attacks by Chaos forces and Ratmen. After recovering the Gift of the Water God, he evacuated Elisa and the others while his summoned forces fought off another invasion.

• Duanmu Huai rescued Elisa from Evil God Believers, defeated the Tyrant Fiend, and gained the Puppet Master's legacy after entering the ruined city fragment through Soul Resonance.
• Duanmu Huai and Augis defeated the Bloodthirsty Maniac at Rook, completing Elisa's escort and earning the God of Tyranny's attention.
• Duanmu Huai charged into Silver City, helped drive off the Ratmen, and joined Kado and Christine DeFreyrm in planning to retake City Hall.

Duanmu Huai escorted his companions through the Gray Mountain Range and Bartonia, then claimed Sky City and its mechanical forces. After receiving a warning about an approaching calamity, he recovered the Skull Staff and used it to unlock a Warp Space Dock, preparing the station for travel and defense.

• Duanmu Huai chose the Land of Silent Death to evade the Corrupted Cultists, drove off the Midnight Inn, and gained a level after completing its mission.
• Duanmu Huai accepted the Dwarfs’ offer of passage through the Gray Mountain Range, led their attack on the Ratmen, and discovered an Antimatter Energy Core in the ruins.
• Duanmu Huai crossed into Bartonia with his companions, captured the brash Knight Louis, and helped defend a caravan from Orcs before reaching Carcassonne.
• Duanmu Huai and Okegis found Sky City, defeated its robot defenders and Mobile Armor, and helped Mia recover her body, earning the city and its rewards.
• Duanmu Huai defeated the Green Knight, met the Lady of the Lake, and accepted her quest to protect the world from an approaching calamity.
• Duanmu Huai and Okegis uncovered a Vampire Necromancer in a convent, killed him, and recovered the chained Skull Staff from a sealed chamber.

Duanmu Huai solved the Murder Puppet conspiracy, stopped a ritual threatening the Holy City, and recruited allies before joining the campaign to retake Mordheim. After uncovering corruption within the Sigmar Church and guiding the Mechanicus Sect toward the Holy Army, he volunteered to investigate the dangerous Slum District.

• Duanmu Huai and Okegis investigated the murders in Todtheim, traced Jia Wei to Iver, and exposed the devil nun’s plan to open a gate to Hell.
• Duanmu Huai destroyed the temple ritual with his companions, earned the Holy City World Soul Shard, and received a Soul Card for Lorena.
• Duanmu Huai joined the First Prince’s campaign as leader of the Pink Little Rabbit warband and entered Mordheim with Lorena, Melody, Fia, and Okegis.
• Duanmu Huai and the allied warbands retook the Sigmar Temple, rang its purified bell, and fought off the Ratmen with help from Mia’s bombardment.
• Duanmu Huai exposed Bishop Sigmar as a follower of the God of Deceit, freeing the Battle Nuns while General Paster continued the campaign to retake Mordheim.

Duanmu Huai helped reclaim Mordheim, resisted the First Prince’s plans for its Warpstone, and traveled to Manaria after discovering a vision of a coming conflict between humans and dragons. He joined Ann, Gureiya, and Felin in defeating the Flame Demon Dragon, then left the group with Felin accompanying them.

• Duanmu Huai flooded the Ratmen’s tunnels, recovered the Holy Relic Box, and used its Gravity Gauntlet before helping reclaim the Noble District and destroy the Tyranny cultists’ barrier.
• Duanmu Huai accepted the mission to revitalize the Empire, acquired Badi’s mechanical dragon, and joined General Paster’s party in disguising Mordheim’s Warpstone before traveling to Altdorf.
• Manfred von Carstein ambushed the convoy, but Duanmu Huai defeated his Terrorgheist and drove him off before the party reached Altdorf.
• Duanmu Huai discovered that a Manaria fairy tale pointed to Dunkelberg, then touched a crystal there and saw a vision of Princess Ann fighting a Steel Knight as a voice asked him to save the world.
• Duanmu Huai met Princess Ann and Gureiya at Manaria Magic Academy and proposed that their countries join the Holy City in hunting Fafnir to prevent humans and dragons from becoming enemies.
• Duanmu Huai led Ann, Gureiya, Owen, Okegis, and Lorena to the Icebound Mountain Range, defeated the dragons that had burned a town, and learned that Fafnir planned to free the Flame Demon Dragon.
• Duanmu Huai defeated Felin in battle and persuaded her to help them defeat the Flame Demon Dragon, then join their adventures.
• Duanmu Huai and his companions defeated the Flame Demon Dragon after Felin released its seal, and they left the collapsing tower with Felin, who told Gureiya that she was part human and part dragon.
