At noon, Sacred Orchid Academy's student cafeteria was open.

Xian Wu ordered a Meal C and carried his tray in one hand, finding a quiet spot to sit.

The cafeteria served three kinds of meals: Meal A, Meal B, and Meal C.

Meal C, also called the Pancake Meal, came with one large pancake and a bowl of clear soup. It was completely free.

With Meal B, you could choose one vegetable dish in addition to the pancake and soup, but the vegetable dish cost extra.

For Meal A, you could choose two meat dishes and one vegetable dish. It was a bit more expensive.

Usually, if any Meal A or Meal B dishes were left over from the previous meal, they were served for free with Meal C.

Most students from ordinary families weren't well-off, so free Meal C was their favorite.

If they got to eat any leftovers, they'd be happy for quite a while.

"Brr—this is cold." Xian Wu shivered.

He glared resentfully at his Left Hand. That shameless little bastard had ruined both his trousers and his underwear.

If it weren't for the pain, I'd have chopped you off by now, Xian Wu thought angrily.

Turning his frustration into an appetite, he used his left hand to break the pancake into small pieces, then picked them up with his chopsticks and dipped them into the clear soup.

Thanks to the Demon Left Hand's special properties, it stayed exceptionally clean without needing to be washed.

Bacteria, fungi, viruses, and the like were broken down into atoms as soon as they landed on it.

"It tastes a bit like lamb soup with bread, but it's a shame there's no lamb." Xian Wu wolfed down the soup and pancake, then smacked his lips.

It was the first day of school, and the new students had nothing to do after their tests, so they were free to do as they pleased.

The upperclassmen, on the other hand, had classes starting on the first day. They could only go to the cafeteria for lunch after classes ended at noon.

So when Xian Wu arrived, the cafeteria was full of new students. By the time he was leaving, the upperclassmen were only just beginning to stream in.

"Damn, not a single leftover?"

"Can't be helped. The new students started today, and those little brats gobbled up all the leftovers."

"Who needs leftovers? Having pancakes is good enough. They even made them with oil today. Xiaoshan, wanna eat an oily pancake?"

"Are you kidding? If I don't eat, I'll be starving through afternoon classes!"

The cafeteria was filled with grumbling upperclassmen, while the new students who had gotten leftovers felt ill at ease.

Just as Xian Wu stood up with his tray, ready to leave, a few upperclassmen walked over together.

By sheer coincidence, Zhang Ming, Zhu Jun Xiang, and the others spotted Xian Wu too.

Since nearly every seat in the cafeteria was taken, they also carried their trays over this way.

"Xian Wu, wait!" Zhang Ming greeted him with an ingratiating smile.

The two groups reached Xian Wu's table at almost the same time.

"Sorry, upperclassmen, but you'll have to find another seat. Our classmate got here first and saved this table for us."

Zhu Jun Xiang was the first to set his tray on the table.

The tall upperclassman leading the group had been about to leave, but when he saw the leftovers on Zhu Jun Xiang's tray, he immediately flew into a rage.

"Why should we find another seat? We're sitting here!" The upperclassman swept Zhu Jun Xiang's tray off the table.

The scalding clear soup splashed all over Zhu Jun Xiang, while the pancake slapped right onto Zhang Ming's face.

"Ah! Hot, hot, hot! I'm burning!" Zhu Jun Xiang hopped around as if he were dancing, screaming nonstop.

"Good grief, why did it suddenly get dark?" With a pancake stuck to his face, Zhang Ming careened in every direction before pitching headfirst onto the floor.

Their new friend Wei Nan set his tray down and bent to help Zhang Ming up.

Unexpectedly, the upperclassman leading the group also knocked Wei Nan's tray flying. The soup and pancake landed right on his back.

Though blisters rose on his scalded back, Wei Nan didn't make a sound. He helped Zhang Ming to his feet first.

"That's enough! You've gone too far!" Du Ze stood holding his tray, his face dark with anger.

This was outrageous.

"Watch your mouth when you're talking to an upperclassman. You looking for a beating?" Another upperclassman pointed at Du Ze, chin jutting out, utterly overbearing.

"Forget it, Du Ze. A wise man doesn't fight when the odds are against him." Zhu Jun Xiang grimaced as he tugged at Du Ze's arm.

Du Ze bit his lip. He was furious, but if they really fought, he and the others would be the ones getting beaten up.

Tell an instructor at the academy?

No. If they dared do that, they'd face even harsher retaliation.

Just as Du Ze was about to let it go and turn to leave, Xian Wu stepped forward.

"Kid, finish your meal and get lost. Don't go looking for trouble," the upperclassman who'd just yelled at Du Ze said arrogantly.

Xian Wu narrowed his eyes, smacked his tray into the man's face, then took off running.

"Damn it, kill him!" The upperclassman, his face covered in pancake crumbs, was nearly foaming with rage.

He'd thought the kid would know his place and run off with his tail between his legs. He hadn't expected him to actually throw a punch. Had he grown a bear's gall?

The upperclassmen came to their senses, set their trays on the table, and hurried after him.

"Stop! Don't run!"

"Kid, keep running and I'll break your legs!"

"MD, how's this kid faster than me, a Bronze Warrior?"

Beneath his fluttering black cloak, a pair of snowy-white thighs kept appearing and disappearing. Xian Wu couldn't worry about that now.

"Ah!!! Pervert!!!" Some girls caught a glimpse of what they shouldn't have and shrieked, covering their faces.

With the pursuers closing in, Xian Wu decided to go all out and dissolved the clothes of everyone who got in his way.

"Are you in a hurry to be reborn or something? Why are you running so fast? Hm??? Why do I suddenly feel a little cold?"

"Bro, why are you wearing women's underwear?"

"Holy crap, where are my pants? Who the hell stole them?"

"You think losing your pants is bad? There's a girl over there who lost her skirt!"

With Xian Wu's ruthless, self-serving antics, the cafeteria descended into total chaos.

"Move, move! Out of the way!"

"Fuck, who do you think you're pushing? Try that again!"

"So what if I push you? I'm pushing you again! Holy crap, you smacked me? I'll beat you to death!"

The pursuers were soon blocked by the chaotic crowd, and Xian Wu managed to escape the cafeteria.

Du Ze, Wei Nan, Zhang Ming, and Zhu Jun Xiang stood there dumbfounded.

"As expected of the 'Pants-Stripping Fiend.' He came to eat at the cafeteria without even wearing pants..." Zhang Ming's worldview had been shattered once again.

Zhu Jun Xiang blew on the blisters on his arm as he said, "Anyway, Xian Wu got revenge for me. He's my big brother from now on."

"Yeah, he's my big brother too!" Wei Nan pulled a bag out of his clothes and stuffed all the pancakes from the upperclassmen's trays into it.

Du Ze nodded. "We'd better get out of here while things are still chaotic. Those bastards won't be able to catch Xian Wu, so they'll come looking for trouble with us."

Meanwhile, just outside the cafeteria, Xian Wu ran into Lu Piao and Nie Li.

"Hey, Brother Wu! We were just looking for you. Didn't expect you to be here." Lu Piao waved.

Xian Wu ignored Lu Piao, clutching his cloak as he brushed past him and jogged away.

"Why are you ignoring me? Wait up! Hey, I have something important to tell you." Lu Piao chased him through the archway.

Watching Xian Wu's figure grow smaller in the distance, Lu Piao opened his mouth. "I was trying to tell you that Hu Yan Lan Ruo is searching the new students' dorms with a group of people. You'd better not go back."
