Boom!!
The miniature missiles were struck by red lightning and blown to pieces, exploding with a thunderous roar that shook the area.
The resulting turbulence swept away the surrounding rubble and dust.
Batman, Bruce Wayne, surged forward. With a deafening roar as he tore through the air, he was suddenly right in front of Bai Lang.
"Gotham doesn't need someone like you!"
His face twisted viciously. His arm tensed as the power armor reached its limits, and his fist smashed through a four-inch-thick stone slab before slamming toward Bai Lang's jaw.
Bai Lang stood there dazed, as though he'd been scared witless. He didn't react at all.
The several officers taking cover by the wall stared in horror, stunned by the battle between the two Batmen.
"Both Batmen are incredibly powerful. Are we really supposed to shoot?" Seeing such terrifying destructive power, Jack felt his scalp prickle.
The orders from his superior, the police chief, kept coming through his earpiece, telling him to open fire.
These two aren't human! They're Bat-monsters! he screamed inwardly, completely ignoring his superior's furious commands.
Bang!
The massive fist landed squarely on Bai Lang's jaw. The force of over six tons was like a punch into cotton—it couldn't move him in the slightest.
Batman, Bruce Wayne, froze at the sight, his eyes filled with shock.
How was this possible?
Even after boosting his strength twenty-eight times, his punch packed over six tons of force, and he still couldn't move the other man?
Even the officers watching from nearby were stunned.
They'd seen Batman, Bruce Wayne, smash a four-inch-thick stone slab to pieces with that punch.
The force had to be several tons at least, yet a blow that powerful couldn't make Bai Lang budge an inch!
Bai Lang's physical abilities had now far surpassed those of an ordinary person.
His strength reached a terrifying sixty tons, his speed was an astounding hundred meters per second, and his reflexes were incredibly sharp.
Without using the electricity in his body to stimulate himself, he could withstand at least fifty tons of force!
Batman, Bruce Wayne, could only exert five hundred pounds of force with one hand—about 227 kilograms.
Even with the power armor boosting it by at least twenty-eight times, that only amounted to around six tons. A hit like that couldn't move Bai Lang at all.
Unless Superman from nearby Metropolis showed up.
Batman, Bruce Wayne, stared in disbelief at the fake Batman, Bai Lang.
The information he'd gathered earlier said the other man's strength was only five tons, and that he could run a hundred meters in three seconds—several times stronger and faster than an ordinary human.
The Anti-Batman Armor he wore had been designed to counter those abilities based on that information.
But he'd never imagined that the other man's current strength would far surpass what he'd learned!
It made him feel as if the Anti-Batman Armor he'd built had become a joke.
"Bruce Wayne, I'm not one of those lunatics. I'm not going to play your superhero-and-criminal game with you."
"Gotham doesn't need a vigilante. It needs change from the top down!"
A shadowy glint flickered in Bai Lang's dark eyes.
"You've seen it yourself, haven't you? After becoming Gotham's vigilante, the Scarecrow threatened you with people's lives and forced you to work for him."
Batman, Bruce Wayne, roared. He kicked with all his strength, shattering the air with a thunderous boom as he aimed his blow at Bai Lang.
"Even if change is needed, we don't need a butcher like you, someone who slaughters people!"
Bai Lang lifted a hand and casually blocked the powerful kick.
Seeing his kick, boosted twenty-eight times over, stopped so effortlessly, Batman, Bruce Wayne, felt his twisted expression darken.
It looked like he'd been utterly defeated tonight.
He needed to gather more information and find the other man's weakness.
Bai Lang swung his arm and sent him flying. Bruce smashed into the wall with a heavy crash, and rubble rained down on him as he fell.
Bai Lang appeared in front of the chemicals.
He needed to destroy the Fear Toxin, not play house with Batman, Bruce Wayne.
That had been his objective all along.
He aimed his hand at the dozens of crates of chemicals before him. Red electricity crackled and gathered in his palm.
Boom!!
Terrifying electricity burst from his hand like a red lightning dragon, destroying all the chemicals and reducing them to scattered debris.

A pale-blue notification box appeared before Bai Lang's eyes.
He moved, leaping through a window beside the room and landing steadily on a truck outside.
The truck driver felt it jolt, but thought nothing of it and prepared to drive away.
But Bai Lang knew the truck was carrying the remaining Fear Toxin.
Naturally, he wasn't about to let it leave with the Fear Toxin aboard.
He vaulted into the cab, and with a surge of electricity, destroyed the truck's braking system.
The driver immediately pulled out a handgun and tried to take a shot at him. But before he could fire, a fist the size of a sandbag lightly struck his face.
Blood sprayed out, and several of his teeth shattered.
Bai Lang went to the back of the truck and destroyed all the Fear Toxin before leaving the scene.
Bruce Wayne, still wearing the Anti-Batman Armor, pushed the rubble off himself and stood up.
The supercomputer in his helmet had recorded the entire fight.
He clenched his fist, his expression grim.
Wayne Manor.
Bruce Wayne sat at the computer, watching footage of his fight with Bai Lang on the screen.
"Even after a twenty-eightfold boost, my punch packed at least six tons of force. And yet it had no effect on him at all..."
"At least a hundred meters in two seconds, and twenty tons of strength..."
"And he has that powerful red electricity, as well as a body impervious to blades and bullets..."
He looked at the other screen beside him.
On it, a figure in a blue bodysuit with an "S" on his chest and a red cape soared through the sky, firing terrifying red energy from his eyes.
"Could it really be you..."
"Beep, beep, beep..."
The communicator suddenly rang. Bruce answered.
"Mr. Wayne, you wanted to speak with me?"
Fox's voice came from the other end. He sounded congested, as if he'd caught a cold.
"Fox, take care of yourself. I need you to upgrade the Anti-Batman Armor for me..."
"Um, what exactly do you need upgraded?" Fox asked.
Bruce Wayne stared intently at the figures on the two screens, his voice low.
"Replace every missile in the weapons system with pulse weapons. The power armor needs an upgrade, too—enough to boost my strength to at least twenty... thirty tons or more..."
Bai Lang changed out of his Batman suit and put on his clean white shirt.
By the entrance to an alley off Park Street, he often saw addicts with pale faces and gaunt features.
They wandered the streets like the walking dead.
Bai Lang frowned as he looked at the addicts. He didn't have a good impression of them.
[Ability Points: 30 (Earned by causing ripples of impact on the world)]
He checked the Ability Points he'd earned that night.
"Destroying the Fear Toxin earned me another twenty-two Ability Points. I'll put them all into Current Propulsion."
As soon as Bai Lang focused, all the Ability Points on the panel poured into his superpower, Current Propulsion.
[Ability Points: 30] → [Ability Points: 0]
In an instant, he felt a warm current spread throughout his body.
At the same time, his cells, which had already been rubbing together at high speed, went into overdrive under the warmth.
Electricity built up faster and faster.
In less than three seconds, he felt the electricity in his body increase by at least a third!
[Current Propulsion: 206,000 volts] → [Current Propulsion: 266,000 volts]
Crackle!
Red arcs of electricity, tinged with faint streaks of gold, danced across Bai Lang's body.
Only after he'd brought all the electricity in his body under control did he return home.
The moment he opened the door, a lovely figure threw herself against him.
Like a little cat, she sniffed around his neck. Bai Lang even felt her teeth lightly graze the skin there.
It was Catwoman. Though the effects of the Fear Toxin had worn off, for some reason, it seemed to have stirred a different kind of desire in her.
Catwoman had already removed the mask from her head, revealing her beautiful face.
Her skin was pale as snow, and a blush spread from her ears to her cheeks, making her look lovely.
Her eyes were clouded with desire, like a little wildcat in heat.
She clung to Bai Lang, her body temperature rising rapidly.
Just as their lips were about to meet, Bai Lang held her head back with both hands.
His body was being completely honest...
"Do you know what you're doing, Ms. Selina?" Bai Lang asked in a low voice.
His deep, resonant voice made Catwoman, Selina, shiver.
She let out a soft hum, held him tighter, and leaned in.
"Of course I know what I'm doing, Mr. Detective."
"To me, getting to sleep with a handsome, righteous man like you... I'm the one who came out ahead..."
As she finished speaking, she rose onto her tiptoes and kissed Bai Lang.
