Background / History

Destiny was among the most powerful Chaos Demon Gods, second only to Pangu in the Creation-era hierarchy. He survived Pangu's assault through reincarnation within the Primordial World's Heavenly Dao, gaining the opportunity to return ahead of other Chaos Demon Gods. 541 1327

While controlling Hongjun's body, Destiny secretly usurped the Heavenly Dao. His identity was exposed when he used a form of speaking law into being strong enough to deflect Styx's attack despite the pressure of several Saints. 541

After revealing himself, Destiny manifested the River of Destiny and attempted to erase Styx at the root by tracing his existence through time. Styx resisted with the Chaos Bell and the Blood Great Dao, while Sanqing, Nuwa, Houtu, and other Saints joined the conflict. 541

Destiny then sought to rewrite Styx's fate and reclaim the Primordial World's Three Daos. Styx, Sanqing, Houtu, and Dijiang prepared to summon Pangu's incomplete true form, prompting Destiny to halt his offensive so that he could confront Pangu once again. 542

His attempt to corrupt and retain control of the Heavenly Dao ultimately failed. The Great Dao expelled him from Hongjun's body, purified the body, and pursued Destiny's True Spirit, absorbing a wisp of his Destiny Law. 545

Later, Destiny rallied the Chaos Demon Gods by presenting the Primordial World's advancement as an opportunity: they could reclaim their Origins, seize Pangu's Dao Fruit, and use the world's Destiny to restore their own potential. 1278

He subsequently formed an alliance with Hongjun, Shi Chen, and Yang Mei to attack the Primordial World, with Jieyin and Zhunti intended to support the invasion from within. 1298

Destiny was eventually overwhelmed by Styx's evolved Great Dao. His remaining light faded as Styx's blood-colored threads dissolved the Immeasurable Prototype and Destiny Origin, which were absorbed into the Styx Realm. 1435

Personality

Destiny is proud, vengeful, and deeply unwilling to accept Pangu's supremacy. He regards the seizure of Pangu's Dao Fruit and revenge for the Chaos Demon Gods as justified retaliation for Pangu using them as fuel for his own Dao. 542

He is also a capable manipulator. When the Chaos Demon Gods became intimidated by the Primordial World's growth, Destiny redirected their fear toward the possible rewards of conquest and restored their willingness to fight. 1278

Despite his confidence, Destiny remained wary of the Great Dao. He hesitated to fully mobilize the Heavenly Dao's power because doing so could draw the Great Dao's attention. 544
