Background / History

The original Xue Qinghe was the eldest prince of the Heaven Dou Empire. During a hunting ceremony held for his tenth birthday, Spirit Hall created chaos; Qian Renxue, then using the name Xiao Xue as his maid, killed him and assumed his identity. She maintained the impersonation for six years, leaving only a few people aware that the real prince had disappeared. 35

As Xue Qinghe, she secretly targeted the royal succession. While in Nuoding City, she arranged an alibi for the death of Second Prince Xue Luochuan, who died from chronic poison while “Xue Qinghe” was far away. She later had Third Prince Xue Haicang eliminated as well. 6 14 20 24

Her investigation of Su Yuntian began after sensing the awakening of his Angel Martial Soul. She ordered his capture, then personally pursued him in a female disguise through her Angel Martial Soul resonance. Witnessing Su Yuntian and Su Yuntao fight together changed her interest from simple acquisition to admiration for Su Yuntian’s potential and their brotherly bond. 6 8
