Background

Myriad Demon King was among the great ferocious beasts of the Star Dou Great Forest. He had once been the nominal ruler of its plant-type Soul Beasts, but the near-extinction of plant Soul Beasts left him without the population that had supported his position. His comparatively weak bloodline was offset by strength accumulated through devouring, as well as exceptional spiritual power. 48 69

Lin Chen considered him indispensable because he was the only ferocious beast with a spiritual attribute. Although Di Tian had initially planned for Myriad Demon King to occupy the third contract slot, Lin Chen prioritized producing spiritual-attribute Soul Beasts and selected him as the second contract instead. 6 68

Appearance

Myriad Demon King's original form was a massive Demonic-Eyed Tree, surrounded by poisonous mist and spiritual power. After contracting with Lin Chen, he could shrink into a humanoid tree-stump form; after his Dragon Valley evolution, his true body became the luminous Fusang Divine Tree. 69 71 234
