Background
Lu Ya is Di Jun's son and the Demon Court's tenth prince. Eastern Emperor Taiyi summoned him to secretly investigate rumors surrounding Di Jun and Daoist Cihang, warning him to report everything he learned. Lu Ya accepted the order respectfully. 24
While observing Zhao Gongming's group outside the Human Ancestral Land, Lu Ya mistook Cihang's transformed projection of Di Jun for proof that Cihang was his father's lover. He formally addressed the horrified Cihang as “Little Mother” until Cihang explained the projection came from a magic treasure. 25
To verify the explanation, Lu Ya provided Di Jun's Natal Golden Feather for Zhao Gongming to refine into a treasure. The resulting Beast-Eared Girl's Crown transformed Lu Ya into a cat-eared girl when activated, but its demonstration helped establish that Di Jun's earlier transformation was likewise caused by a magic treasure rather than possession. 25 26 27
Appearance
In his usual form, Lu Ya is a dashing young man in a golden-red robe, with youthful yet heroic features. 25 31
- Normal form — Golden-red robes and a composed, princely bearing. 25
- Crown transformation — Fluffy cat ears, a long cat tail, and an exceptionally cute appearance. 26 27
- Activation speech — The crown's transformation causes him to append “meow” to his speech. 26 27
Personality
Lu Ya is courteous even when confused or alarmed. Upon revealing himself to the Sage disciples, he greeted them respectfully despite his uncertainty over Cihang's connection to Di Jun. He is also notably calm in negotiation, using the Demon Court's resources to secure Zhao Gongming's help. 25
He is deeply filial and becomes visibly distressed when Di Jun disappears, pleading for the Sages' aid and joining Zhao Gongming and Di Jiang's rescue mission. He later defends Di Jun against Di Jiang's insinuations, insisting that his father would never submit to an enemy. 149 150 153
Lu Ya demonstrates political insight beyond his age. After observing repeated conflicts among major powers, he argues that the Demon, Human, and Witch races should cooperate rather than perpetuate cycles of vengeance. 73
His pragmatic streak becomes especially clear on the Heavenly Dao Network: off-camera, he dismisses his catgirl persona as a calculated performance for earning resources, then instantly resumes acting cute once the livestream restarts. 171
Abilities & Skills
Golden Crow Bloodline
Lu Ya can use his Golden Crow heritage for rapid movement and bloodline-based tracking.
- Transforms into Golden Crow rainbow light and travels thousands of miles almost instantly. 31
- Detects Di Jun's bloodline aura across worlds, ultimately locating it on a heavily guarded metal planet. 152 153
Beast-Eared Girl's Crown
A Houtian Conceptual Spirit Treasure refined by Zhao Gongming from Di Jun's Natal Golden Feather. 25 26
- Absolute Domination — Can designate one Demon Race target below Lu Ya's realm and issue commands that cannot be resisted, even commands leading to death. 25
- Restriction — Forces Lu Ya into a randomly selected cute beast-eared girl form while active; in his case, he takes on a catgirl appearance and speaks with “meow” endings. 25 26
- Practical use — Zhao Gongming assigns Lu Ya to patrol Human Race tribes and use the crown's authority to compel talented individuals to cultivate. 37
Political Judgment
Lu Ya recognizes the strategic value of inter-racial cooperation.
- Identifies the Human Race's favored destiny and Fuxi's former position as Xi Emperor as grounds for a Human–Demon alliance. 73
- Proposes a broader Demon–Human–Witch balance to end recurring cycles of conflict and revenge. 73
Heavenly Dao Network Performance
Lu Ya successfully turns the crown's embarrassing side effect into an online resource-gathering strategy.
- Operates a popular livestream while wearing the Beast-Eared Girl's Crown and accepting gifts of heavenly materials and earthly treasures. 171
- Maintains a sharp divide between his cold, calculating private demeanor and his deliberately adorable on-camera persona. 171
Equipment / Items
- Beast-Eared Girl's Crown — Conceptual command-type treasure granting Absolute Domination over a lower-realm Demon Race target, at the cost of a beast-eared-girl transformation. 25 26
- Book of Cyber Cultivation's Dao of Artifacts — A jade slip containing records of the other world's psionic cannons, warship engines, and artifact-refining principles; Lu Ya gives it to Zhao Gongming for study. 165
Relationships
- Di Jun — Father and Demon Emperor. Lu Ya is fiercely concerned for Di Jun's safety, leads the effort to find him after his disappearance, and is warmly praised as a filial son upon their reunion. 25 149 153
- Xihe — Mother. She recognizes Lu Ya by his bloodline aura even in his transformed catgirl state. 27
- Eastern Emperor Taiyi — Paternal uncle. Taiyi orders Lu Ya to investigate the alleged connection between Di Jun and Cihang. 24

- Wu Zhiqi — Lu Ya forms a brotherhood with Wu Zhiqi, earning Di Jun's pride and approval. 135
Story Role / Major Arcs
Investigation of the Demon Emperor Rumors
Sent by Eastern Emperor Taiyi to investigate Di Jun's supposed relationship with Cihang, Lu Ya mistakes Cihang's magic-treasure projection for evidence and creates the “Little Mother” misunderstanding. He commissions the Beast-Eared Girl's Crown to establish the truth. 24 25
Demon Court Reconciliation
Lu Ya activates the crown before Di Jun and Taiyi, becoming a cat-eared girl and demonstrating that extreme transformations can be magic-treasure effects. His explanation prevents the misunderstanding from escalating further, although his transformed appearance sparks new family chaos. 26 27
Support for the Human Race
During Zhao Gongming's work at the Human Ancestral Land, Lu Ya apologizes to the Human Race ancestors in his transformed form, softening their attitude toward the Demon Race. He is later assigned to patrol tribes and identify promising cultivators. 35 37
Advocacy for Inter-Racial Alliance
After witnessing conflicts among Di Jun, Di Jiang, Ancestor Minghe, and East King Duke, Lu Ya argues that the Demon, Human, and Witch races must abandon hatred and cooperate. Zhao Gongming praises his intelligence and uses the proposal as a basis for further reconciliation efforts. 73
Rescue of Di Jun
When Di Jun vanishes through a spatial rift, Lu Ya reports the crisis to the Sages and begs for assistance. He travels with Zhao Gongming and Di Jiang into another world, using his Golden Crow bloodline to trace Di Jun to a fortified planet. 149 150 151 152 153
Heavenly Dao Network Livestreaming
Lu Ya adopts a catgirl livestream persona to acquire cultivation resources from viewers. His approach shocks Di Jun at first, but Di Jun ultimately interprets it as proof of Lu Ya's ambition and “Great Emperor bearing.” 171
