Mei Wa previously served in a military Shadow Unit, where she received the codename Mushroom. During a hostage-clearing operation, she witnessed Alexander Duggan—then known as Jackal—neutralize enemy heavy firepower from 877 meters alongside his spotter, allowing their team to withdraw safely.
