Uchiha Wei and the other two crept inside, then whispered, "Brother Toyo, remember to hit him extra hard! That guy made me lose face at school!"

"Hmph! He made me lose face, too! We'll teach him a good lesson today!" said another familiar Uchiha clan ninja, Uchiha Kaku.

Shigure had also looked into the man they called Big Brother. His name was Uchiha Toyo.

"This is too funny! You lost to some bastard? What a joke!" Uchiha Toyo scoffed. In his eyes, taking Shigure out would be as easy as moving a finger.

"Don't worry. Everything's already prepared," Uchiha Toyo said before heading for the entrance to Shigure's house.

Looks like these three Uchiha have come to get revenge on me?! I can't believe they're targeting me this hard! Why did the previous owner of the body I transmigrated into have to be an Uchiha outcast? Shigure couldn't make sense of it.

Since these guys had the nerve to come here, they shouldn't expect to leave so easily! Shigure narrowed his eyes as an idea came to him.

The three had already entered Shigure's house.

They saw Shigure fast asleep in bed and exchanged grins.

"Heh! He's completely off guard! Serves him right for getting beaten up by us!" Uchiha Wei didn't think much of it. With a cold laugh, he pulled out the sack he'd brought and slipped it over the sleeping "Shigure."

Then he took out a wooden club and began savagely beating the "Shigure" in front of him.

"Haha! Let's see you act tough now!" Wei and Kaku grinned smugly, but Toyo sensed something was wrong.

After striking him a few times with the club, Wei felt that something was off.

"Thud!" Shigure instantly turned into a large wooden log.

"Damn it!" Uchiha Toyo reacted quickly and immediately tried to escape.

"Substitution Technique! How did this happen?! We—we've been found out! Retreat!" Wei and Kaku panicked and turned to flee.

But before they could get away, three Shadow Clones of Shigure suddenly appeared in front of them, surrounding the trio.

"Shadow Clones?!" Uchiha Toyo was shocked. This was a B-rank jutsu! How could a little kid in front of him possibly use it?

Shigure appeared in person and sneered at them. "Who would've thought the mighty Uchiha Clan of Konoha could be so vile? You actually came to my house under cover of night to get revenge on me!"

The Shadow Clones beside him cracked their knuckles one by one, their joints popping as they stood ready to strike.

"It's a misunderstanding, a misunderstanding!" Uchiha Wei forced a smile and waved his hands, apparently trying to stall for time. Then, without warning, he shouted, "Big Brother, Second Brother! Attack!"

As soon as the words left his mouth, two voices rang out almost simultaneously.

"Fire Style: Phoenix Sage Fire Technique!"

"Fire Style: Dragon Fire Technique!"

Taking advantage of Shigure's distraction, Uchiha Kaku and Uchiha Toyo had already formed Hand Seals and unleashed two different Fire Release techniques.

Though they were only C-rank jutsu, they were still quite destructive.

"Hmph! You think C-rank jutsu can hurt me? How naive!" Shigure shook his head in disdain.

"Big talk! Let's see you withstand these two Fire Release attacks first!" Uchiha Wei sneered and backed away.

Uchiha Kaku gathered a surge of refined chakra, then spat fireballs from his mouth one after another. Shigure's Shadow Clones and his real body dodged at lightning speed.

Uchiha Toyo's Dragon Fire Technique didn't shoot out in bursts like Phoenix Sage Fire. Instead, it continuously unleashed a stream of flames in a straight line.

The two attacked Shigure from either side, leaving him almost nowhere to dodge.

The cramped house instantly became a blazing inferno.

Shigure wasn't about to sit back and wait to die. He and his Shadow Clones formed Hand Seals at once, their hands moving considerably faster than the two Uchihas'.

Almost instantly, several Shigures called out together, "Earth Release: Earth Wall!"

Two enormous earthen walls burst from the ground, blocking both men's Fire Release techniques.

"How is that possible?!"

"A kid who just graduated from the Ninja Academy can use Earth Release: Earth Wall?!"

Uchiha Toyo and Uchiha Kaku exchanged a shocked glance. "We really underestimated this kid!"

Shigure, too, was taken aback. These guys actually dared to attack me with such deadly jutsu?!

Shigure immediately demanded, "Aren't you afraid of drawing the attention of the Security Force?!"

Uchiha Kaku and Uchiha Toyo exchanged glances and burst out laughing. "Ha! You really love playing dumb, kid! Don't you know the Uchiha Clan is responsible for Konoha's security?"

"In other words, we already gave them a heads-up today! We can do whatever we want in this area!"

"So that's it!" Shigure finally understood. The three Uchihas had already arranged everything in advance, and now they were just waiting to kill him.

"If that's the case, I can't let you leave!" Shigure was no longer the powerless Uchiha Shigure he'd once been.

"I, Uchiha Shigure, have always repaid every grudge and every kindness!" Once he understood, his expression quickly darkened.

He formed Hand Seals and called out, "Shadow Clone Jutsu!"

Two more Shadow Clones appeared, bringing Shigure to his current limit of five.

Including Shigure himself, there were now six of them. The Shadow Clones scattered and surrounded the three Uchihas once more.

Facing the trio, Shigure charged at them at his top speed, forming Hand Seals as he ran.

"Fire Style: Great Fireball Jutsu!" It was the same Great Fireball, but Shigure's version was far more powerful. Its area of effect was so vast that it could cover all three of them.

"That's the Great Fireball?! Are you kidding me?!" Uchiha Wei was dumbfounded.

"Get out of the way!!!" Uchiha Kaku and Uchiha Toyo were shocked. They each kicked the stunned Uchiha Wei aside, and the three of them were lucky enough to dodge Shigure's Great Fireball.

But Shigure had already calculated where they would land after dodging, and his Shadow Clones had surrounded them well in advance.

Then Shigure's Three-Tomoe White Rinnegan lit up.

"How do you have... white... white Three Tomoe Sharingan?!" Uchiha Toyo couldn't help exclaiming.

"Surprised? There's more!"

Shigure glanced at his Shadow Clones, then said to the three Uchihas, "Try a taste of your own techniques!"

"Fire Style: Phoenix Sage Fire Technique!"

"Fire Style: Dragon Fire Technique!"

"Fire Style: Great Fireball Jutsu!"
