A Surprise Attack

Almost simultaneously, the three Shadow Clones finished forming Hand Seals and released the C-rank Fire Release Ninjutsu they had just copied from the two men. In an instant, three waves of searing flames surged from their throats.

"Quick! Jump into the air!" The three Uchiha knew how terrifying Shiyu's ninjutsu was, so they had no choice but to evade its full force. They leaped into the air; it was the only way to dodge the Fire Release attack coming from three directions.

But Shiyu smiled. "You fell for it!"

From the very beginning, Shiyu's ninjutsu had only been meant to use the Shadow Clones to force the three men into the air. That way, they would have no chance to dodge his next move.

Shiyu silently thought, Eight Trigrams Vacuum Palm!

Then he used Hizashi Hyuga's Gentle Fist Technique: Eight Trigrams Vacuum Palm, which he had copied just a short while ago.

In an instant, an invisible shock wave of chakra shot out, creating a powerful gust of wind. The three men were completely unprepared and were sent flying backward. They never would have imagined that the shock wave had come from a young Uchiha outcast.

"Pfft!"

All three Uchiha spat blood almost simultaneously.

"How is this possible?!"

"Is this really the strength of a Genin?!"

"No way! This can't be happening!"

The three Uchiha fell to the ground in frustration, utterly helpless against Shiyu. They had just been shouting about teaching him a lesson, but now their fighting spirit was gone.

Shiyu had defeated all three in a single exchange and had planned to press his advantage. But through his White Rinnegan, he saw a number of masked people in ninja uniforms rushing toward them.

Things got out of hand. The village's Anbu are already here. These guys sure are lucky! They've escaped with their lives! Shiyu then decided it was time to stop.

Before long, the masked Anbu arrived. They surveyed the area, visibly surprised.

"You lot are all members of the Uchiha Clan, aren't you? You actually dared to use ninjutsu to fight in the village! Take them all in!" said one of the masked Anbu.

But Shiyu noticed that something seemed off.

The chakra around this Anbu's eyes is moving very quickly. He seems to be from the Uchiha Clan. Could he be one of their people? Shiyu immediately sensed something unusual.

But Shiyu wasn't afraid. He let the so-called Anbu take him and the three Uchiha to the Konoha Police Station.

Then the Anbu began questioning them. Calling it an interrogation would have been generous; it was more like a performance.

"You four went a little too far tonight, didn't you?" said the masked Anbu Ninja.

"He started it!" Uchiha Kaku immediately retorted. He looked like Shiyu had hurt him badly.

"Oh? Is that so, Uchiha Shigure? You actually dared to attack someone first?! What do you have to say for yourself?!" The Anbu immediately berated him. Clearly, this had all been planned.

"Hmph! Still putting on an act? You're one of them, aren't you? You're an Uchiha Anbu, aren't you?" Shiyu sneered, showing no fear despite his predicament.

"Ha! I have no idea what you're talking about. But you're clever! Clever people don't live long!" The Anbu sneered in reply.

"A mere outcast, bullying Uchiha Wei? An orphan with no father or mother, yet he bears the Uchiha name. You bring shame upon our clan!" The Anbu mocked Shiyu. "Let me show you what it means to be a true member of the Uchiha Clan!"

The Uchiha Anbu recklessly took off his mask, revealing his scarlet Three Tomoe Sharingan.

"This is the Three Tomoe Sharingan! This is what proves you belong to the Uchiha Clan!" the Uchiha Anbu jeered. "You're an Uchiha Clan outcast. What do you have to be proud of?"

Even the mildest person had a temper, and Shiyu was already seething inside. Yet not a trace of it showed on his face.

I only get one chance to fight the Anbu! Shiyu said nothing, watching the Uchiha before him lose himself in his own smugness.

"The Three Tomoe! A symbol of the Uchiha Clan's glory! A bastard like you could never awaken this Kekkei Genkai!"

Shiyu held back once again. Having lived two lives, he knew he needed to wait. Though he was furious beyond words, he managed to calm himself.

Wait a little longer! Just a little longer! My opponent is Anbu, after all! Shiyu kept reassuring himself. This time, he had already decided to strike!

At last, the Anbu let his guard down completely and walked toward Shiyu.

Now! White Rinnegan! At a single thought, Shiyu activated his Three-Tomoe White Rinnegan. In an instant, he saw through the Uchiha Anbu's entire chakra network and spotted the weak point in his heart.

Gentle Fist!!! Shiyu shouted in his mind, then shot both hands forward.

"Thump!" The Anbu raised his arm to block, but Shiyu's hand had already touched his heart.

"You! You—you bastard!" The Uchiha Anbu never expected the young Uchiha before him to suddenly attack an Anbu like himself.

He was Anbu! And the kid before him had only just been a student at the Ninja Academy!

Even as he realized he was dying, he couldn't understand why he had seen a pair of white Three Tomoe Sharingan in the Uchiha boy's eyes.

Gentle Fist was a style of combat that could directly attack the chakra network and damage a person's internal organs.

Shiyu had seized the right moment and struck the Uchiha Anbu in the left side of his chest. The seemingly weak palm strike had actually destroyed the Anbu's heart.

No one had expected Shiyu to kill an opponent of a higher rank.

Kaku, Toyo, and Wei stood there, stunned.

They froze in place once again.

"You! You killed an Anbu!" Uchiha Wei took a fearful step backward.

"You actually dared to kill an Anbu Ninja in Konoha?!" Kaku was shocked.

"What on earth happened?! He just touched him, and he died?!" Uchiha Toyo's whole world had been turned upside down. The person in front of them was only a newly promoted Genin! Even when an elite jonin fought an Anbu, the outcome was uncertain. Yet the one lying on the ground was a powerful Uchiha Anbu!

"Somebody, help!" Uchiha Kaku shouted in desperation.

But no matter how loudly they called, there was no response from outside.

"Since you've seen what happened, I have no choice but to kill you all!!" Shiyu ordered the three Shadow Clones to reveal their Three-Tomoe White Rinnegan at the same time. In an instant, he saw through every movement the three men could make.
