Uchiha Gen grows stronger, rescues Kushina, passes Ryūchi Cave’s trials, and prepares to deploy with Orochimaru’s squad. As Mito Uzumaki’s final day arrives, she recognizes Gen’s hopes for the world, and the Nine-Tails transfer ends with its chakra suppressed.

• Uchiha Gen recruits Uchiha Madara (Young), awakens a One-Tomoe Sharingan, and improves his swordsmanship and ninjutsu under Jiraiya and Tsunade.
• Uchiha Gen and Minato Namikaze rescue Kushina from Kumogakure kidnappers, and Hiruzen Sarutobi awards them credit for a joint S-Rank Mission.
• Orochimaru assigns Uchiha Gen, Sarutobi Enju, and Utsuki Ruri to the Strategic Support Unit, and the three endure Ryūchi Cave’s trials before Gen contracts two giant snakes.

Uchiha Gen advanced from rear-line duties to the front, where he helped defeat and capture a dangerous Rain Ninja and earned his teammates' promotions. After awakening his own Sharingan and reaching level twenty, Gen gained new System rewards and began training in Medical Ninjutsu under Tsunade.

• Orochimaru encouraged Uchiha Gen to survive the war so they could pursue their ambitions together, then helped him contract with two Rashomon Gates.
• Uchiha Gen received Kagami Uchiha’s Phantom Body Flicker Technique and joined Konoha’s campaign, helping clear enemy strongholds before his team moved into the Land of Rain.
• Orochimaru promoted Uchiha Gen to Chunin and assigned his squad to rear-line duties, but the united forces of Sunagakure, Iwagakure, and Rain Village pushed Konoha to reinforce the front.

After Konoha allied with Rain Village, Gen’s squad was lured into a Sunagakure encirclement, and he led them in a desperate escape while Black Zetsu’s plans unraveled.

• Uchiha Gen mastered Fire Release and medical techniques, earned Tsunade’s trust, and joined her effort to establish a Medical Ninja system.
• Uchiha Gen developed the Rasengan with Jiraiya and Minato Namikaze, then joined Tsunade’s medical team after Orochimaru reassigned his former teammates.
