"Zarbon, you want the Scouter? In your dreams!"
Vegeta removed the device from his ear and sneered arrogantly.
He squeezed hard, and the Scouter was crushed in an instant.
After all, he'd learned to control his ki on Earth, so this thing was redundant now.
"Vegeta, you'll pay for this!"
Zarbon's eyes seemed to spit fire when he saw what Vegeta had done.
A white aura flared around him as he charged at Vegeta.
He'd even forgotten that Vegeta had destroyed his Scouter by overpowering it.
"Zarbon, bring it on! I've finally seen you let your hair down, so now I'll show you my true power."
A white aura flickered around Vegeta, too, and the two clashed in an instant.
Zarbon's Battle Power was only 20,000, while Vegeta's was 24,000—a difference of more than 3,000.
At first, they traded blows evenly. But once Vegeta went all out, he punched Zarbon into the air and darted after him.
Thud! Thud! Thud!
Vegeta unleashed a barrage of attacks on Zarbon, tossing him around like a soccer ball.
Finally, he clasped his hands together and raised them high before bringing down a heavy blow on Zarbon.
Boom!
With a deafening crash, Zarbon's body shot toward the ground like a shell fresh from a cannon, and the earth caved in on impact.
Vegeta glanced toward the other side of the sky. Two powerful ki signatures were flying this way. Who could they be? Why did they seem so familiar?
On the battlefield!
Boom!
"Vegeta, you've really made me angry! My appearance doesn't matter anymore. Now witness my Demon Transformation!"
A white aura burst around Zarbon. He pushed off the ground and rose into the air, glaring at Vegeta with a twisted expression.
He had to transform to suppress Vegeta. When his life was on the line, his appearance didn't matter.
"You guys keep going. Don't mind me!"
In just a few breaths, Son Gohan and the others had followed the Dragon Radar's readings and arrived. Seeing the tense scene, Gohan stopped on a nearby mountain.
From here, he could watch the fight and collect Battle Power attributes. It was fantastic.
Vegeta glared furiously. He hadn't expected to run into this bastard again so soon.
Even as a Great Ape on Earth, he hadn't been a match for him. What was he supposed to do now?
"A tail? Saiyans? You're from Earth? That Namekian brat led you here? How did I not think of such an obvious solution?"
"Hahaha! Once I've killed Vegeta, I'll deal with you next!"
Zarbon studied Son Gohan and the others. When he saw the brown tail on Gohan, he quickly realized that Saiyans could only be found on Earth.
They looked like children, so he assumed their Battle Power was low.
Besides, they had a Namekian brat to guide them, so finding the remaining Dragon Balls wouldn't be difficult.
As he spoke, he clenched both fists, and a powerful aura surged from within him.
His appearance began to change, and in an instant, his face became hideously ugly.
"How... how is this possible?"
Vegeta was stunned by Zarbon's aura. They'd spent so much time together, yet he'd never known Zarbon could transform.
"Gohan, why are those two fighting?"
Krillin knew Vegeta had arrived on this planet, but the two of them had never met.
With the Grand Elder's help, Krillin's Battle Power had risen, and he wasn't as afraid anymore.
"How can you be so stupid? They're obviously fighting over the Dragon Balls!"
Bulma rolled her eyes at Krillin and looked at him with disdain.
We came here by following the Dragon Radar, and we saw those two fighting along the way.
Anyone with half a brain could tell they were after the Dragon Balls, too.
"Whoa, what was I thinking?"
Krillin rubbed his bald head and gave an embarrassed smile.
He wasn't stupid, either. Bulma's explanation made everything click.
Good. Keep fighting. Better yet, take each other out, and we won't have to do a thing.
"That's the bad guy! He killed so many of our people. Gohan, please avenge the brothers who died!"
Dende recognized Zarbon immediately. He was the man who had attacked their village.
Gritting his teeth, he spoke to Son Goku.
If he'd been a warrior-type Namekian, he would have rushed over and torn Zarbon to pieces himself.
"Don't worry. I'll avenge them."
Son Gohan patted Dende on the shoulder.
There was something he hadn't said: first, he'd collect their Battle Power.
Dende nodded firmly. He knew Son Gohan was powerful, and that he'd keep his word.
"Well, Vegeta? Weren't you enjoying yourself just now? Come on, keep going!"
After completing his transformation, Zarbon felt the terrifying power inside him and smirked arrogantly.
His Battle Power was now 27,000, while Vegeta's was only 23,000. He couldn't wait to grind Vegeta into the dirt.
He darted at Vegeta and threw a punch, but Vegeta somehow dodged with a strange maneuver.
Vegeta could tell Zarbon was dangerous now. He had to give it everything he had.
"Take this! Take this!"
When his first attack missed, Zarbon's hands moved faster, and a storm of punches hammered toward Vegeta.
[ Ding! A frontline fighter dropped a Battle Power attribute: 100 ]
System notifications rang constantly in Son Gohan's ears. Before long, he saw Battle Power attributes scattered all over the ground.
The corners of his mouth curled upward. This is great! Keep fighting! Put some power into it!
"How is this possible? Your transformation increased your power this much!"
The longer Vegeta fought, the harder it became to keep up as Zarbon's movements grew faster and faster.
He was starting to struggle, and pain shot through his arms.
"Vegeta, it's over!"
Zarbon seized an opening and punched Vegeta in the stomach. The tremendous impact sent him crashing into a mountain!
Crash!
The entire mountain collapsed, burying Vegeta beneath the rubble!
Boom!
Suddenly, rays of light shot out from beneath the earth, instantly turning the soil to ash.
"Zarbon, I'll never forgive you!"
With his eyes bloodshot, Vegeta formed one Energy Blast after another and hurled them at Zarbon, firing like a machine gun.
Floating in the air, Zarbon charged forward instead of retreating. He weaved through the Energy Blasts and hurtled down at tremendous speed.
His transformation had increased not only his power but also his speed.
[ Ding! A fighter ahead dropped a Battle Power attribute: 100 ]
As Vegeta unleashed his barrage, Battle Power attributes dropped all over the ground.
System notifications rang nonstop in Son Gohan's mind.
Pick Up All!
He gave the command inwardly. Vegeta was the easiest to harvest. He'd already collected dozens of Battle Power attributes from him.
Battle Power attributes poured into his body, and the Battle Power value in the system panel kept climbing!
"This is fun! Now this is a real fight!"
Zarbon dodged the Energy Blasts with blinding speed, then reached Vegeta and swung a sweeping kick at his head!
