The hill was instantly blasted into powder by the White Aura surging from Vegeta's body. He spat out a mouthful of blood.

"W-what? This is my strongest attack! How can Kakarot's Battle Power still be greater than mine?"
"I am the mightiest Saiyan warrior!"
Vegeta stared in disbelief, his heart filled with fear.
His Energy Wave was completely unable to hold back Kakarot's.
The Energy Wave sent him flying into the sky and through the clouds.
Vegeta used every last bit of strength he had to break free of the Energy Wave.
The Kamehameha continued toward the Earth's atmosphere.
D-damn it! I can't believe I lost to a Low-Class Warrior.
I can't lose!
I don't care how I look anymore. I'll turn into a Great Ape and stomp Kakarot to death.
Vegeta's face contorted with fury.
He flew around the sky, frantically searching for the planet's moon.
He had deliberately waited for the Full Moon before invading Earth so he could kill all the Earthlings.
Hahaha! To keep Son Gohan from turning into a Great Ape, Piccolo destroyed the moon. You can search all you like, Saiyan—it won't do you any good.

He slowly descended before Son Goku, a sinister grin spreading across his face.
"Transform?"

"Kakarot, don't you know that Saiyans turn into Great Apes when they see the Full Moon, unleashing the hidden power in our bodies?"
"Our tails are what allow us to transform. You must regret losing yours now, don't you?"
"Hahaha! When we turn into Great Apes, our Battle Power increases tenfold."
Seeing that Son Goku had no tail, Vegeta grinned excitedly.
A White Aura gathered in his hand. The energy quickly took shape, and he tossed it into the sky.
